Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had the same situation as us? My husband went to his interview on Monday, 4-16-2007, in AMMAN. It was originally scheduled for November 2007 but the embassy called him in March and rescheduled for April. He handed over his paperwork and passport after the interview. They said they would call him after they reviewed his paperwork, in a couple or three weeks. Gave no indication of approval or denial at this point. Anyone have any idea as to how long this may take? What is up with the security checks? Aren't the police records enough?

Thanks and hope to hear from someone soon.

Looks like your husband is undergoing Administrative Processing something all men have to go thru however some are subject to a higher level of scrutiny then others. This process takes a few weeks for some and a few months or a couple of years for others. Im sure if you explore this forum youll get more information on this. Goodluck with your journey.
