Just realized that sent the old version of I-485

Please help me! I filled out all the forms a long time ago and finally sent them yesterday. I couldnt send it right away because I was waiting for my joint sponsor’s documents. But only today I found out that USCIS updated the form. What do I do? Please help i feel really depressed and dont know what i should do

wait for them to reject it and send it back to you.

I agree with @Damara. If you send another form it might create more confusion and will complicate your case.

Thank you. Do you know how long its gonna take for them to send it back?

If they reject it, its going to be right away. The mail room scans the papers as they open the envelopes. If the computer rejects it, they mail it right back. So it could take anywhere from a few days to 1-2 weeks.

Should I cancel the check or they are going to send the check back with the package???

We literally had this same exact thing happen to us a few months ago... In our case, they just sent back the entire package with a "rejected due to expired forms" letter. We weren't charged for the check we sent and we just filled out the new forms and sent them back in with a new check along with the notice they sent us on top. We did not have any problems with our case after that and got my husband's green card four and a half months later. I wouldn't worry about it.

Are you talking about the one that Expires 07/31/2017 ?  On USCIS under

"Edition Page"

it states

"07/02/15. A new edition of this form is coming soon. In the meantime, customers may file using the 07/02/15 edition.  Previous editions are also accepted.  You can find the edition date at the bottom of the page on the Form and Instructions" 

How would you be able to obtain a non expired on if USCIS cant provide it? Should we wait?

No it's the one that expires 12/31/18. The one that was right before the new one.

Are you sure??? Because I read that on the official website it said that starting august 25 only new form can be used.
