July 5, I filed my AOS

August 15, I-485 status changed ready to be scheduled for interview

i did e-request for I-765 yesterday being September 28 and checked back today only to find out that my I-485 was updated yesterday with the same status but different date; As of September 28 we are ready to scheduled you for interview.

E-request for I-765 is still not assigned to an officer. pls tell me what could be happening. Has any of our member ever had similar experience and what happened pls. Could it be the interview letter with detail of the interview has been sent and they forgot to change it to interview scheduled.

Meanwhile I signed up to receive text and email each time my case is updated but never got one yesterday.

The online status changes does not necessary mean much. Just wait in the mail for the interview letter. The changes does not mean you will be assigned a date yet. The field office will fix one and then let you know. The I-765 is handled by a different office. Most times you might not receive any notices on text, email and even online update. I would suggest you call and get a definite answer.

Good luck

You're cutting close to the 90 days for your EAD but they eliminated the 90-day-rule. EAD's get approved -based on what I see here- within 90-120 days.

Just so you know, service requests puts your petition adjudication on hold until they responded to the SR.

Thanks friends for your contributions. Well I did the SR because many May / June / July filers did same on their 75 day and by the time it got to 90 - 100 day, their request was assigned to an officer and approved. I will wait to see what happens in the coming week and possibly call. I am tired of not working yet and need the EAD in order to get a job.
