It seems like every time i feel I'm 99% ready to send my husbands aos packet, I find something new to make me doubt it.  So here's another round of questions because I'm really hoping to seND everything within the next week. is it ok to submit these forms (i 864, i 485, etc) in ink? I know it's possible but someone Mentioned to me some forms come with barcoded but any instructions I've rEad for all the forms says they can be completed in black ink. Is there any that I am specifically required to fill out electronically? Also someone mentioned something about an nvc letter with a bar code which form is that? Do I have that or does it come later? I never even heard about it!

Also also,  for my affidavit of support I don't currently meet the poverty line (when we started last year i did but i have a different job now) so I'm only sending 2 past tax transcripts and 2 w2s along with a letter of my current  employment with projected income but I don't have any paystubs for this job since I get direct deposit and our pay stubs are online, but I have a cosponsor who can provide her pay stubs and tax transcripts etc. Is that ok for my part or should I still present more info on my own behalf?

You can fill out the forms with black ink just fine. Just don't mix the electronic form entry with handwritten form entry...they may just scan it and miss the handwritten data.

For the I-864, you can just send the most recent tax return (transcript preferred, or 1040 + W2s). You can print the pay stubs as evidence...no need to be mailed originals. That plus the employment letter should be fine...since your current income is under the requirements, they will just look at the joint sponsor's I-864 to meet the minimum financial requirements anyway. The joint sponsor should provide pay stubs + an employment letter + at least 1 year of tax returns.

Ok that makes sense but what is this nvc barcode? I honestly just printed every page out and filed them all by hand because we were able to take our time to do them that way since we don't have our own computer. So is there any forms that are required online? I'm so nervous I don't want to mess up anything. I heard there is no time limit to file the aos  for k1 visas, aND all that matters is we got married.  But you know in the midst of everything even one different opinion can fill you with doubt. 😕

I'm not entirely sure what you're referring to, but maybe you are referring to the NVC checklist and Affidavit of Support (I-864) when applying for an immigrant visa? NVC isn't involved in your case...you don't need a visa.

No forms are required to be filed online for AOS.

There's no time limit to file for AOS so long as you married the petitioner within 90 days of entry on the K-1 visa (if you marry after the 90 days, you need to include an I-130 petition with your AOS). However, know that after 90 days you are out of status and technically deportable until you file for AOS.
