How do you know when the NVC received your NOA2?  I don't know when they got mine, just when it was sent from Potomac.  Do tell?

You can call NVC @ (603) 334-0700 and ask them about the case status. You would need to give them the USCIS receipt number.

Hi - my mom's petition status is showing as "Sent to Dept of State" (NVC), but dad's is still showing "Case Approved". Have not heard back from NVC yet for mom's either. So, in waiting mode.

They don't change status once it reached to NVC you would have to call NVC for case number and Invoice number. Took 2 weeks for mine to get the information. Letter  arrived later than that I started to gather financial information before I receive the letter

I rang NVC yesterday as my granddaughter was being born!  Our applications were scanned in on 23 March, but have not yet been processed or given a number.  they told me it could take up to 8 weeks!

crossing fingers it will be quicker than that!
