I'd say in about a year, NBC will likely make a broadcast only documentary on the VT massacre.

I feel as though a movie (for paid audiences) should be held off until after a permanent memorial has been established.

I voted that they won't...but I will add the word "hope" to it. I *hope* a movie isn't made...but I have my doubts. Look at the Columbine shooting...already a documentary/movie has been made. *sigh*

I didn't see "Bowling for Columbine" to be in any way offensive to the Columbine incident and those involved. Exploitative of certain people, as are all Michael Moore movies, but not disrespectful overall. When I read this poll I was thinking of a dramatization type thing. I hope they never make that, and I doubt they will.

eta: wasn't Gus Van Zant's "Elephant" more relevant than Michael Moore's movie?

I voted 5 years since they took 5 years to make a movie about 9/11 but I saw on tv they're already chosing the actors for the Anaa Nicole Smith movie so yeah, I was wrong, maybe a year til they make a movie about that.
