Oh interesting! How did they end up getting the information for the case? Since they won't give me any info, I'm scared I won't be able to see if it gets sent to the embassy or even when they do get it.

Not totally sure.  She scanned copy of her passport bio page and emailed it to them.  Called several times, eventually they had a record on the system of the email, gave her the nvc number.  It never got fixed at the nvc level.  It left NVC before they had time to fix it.  Frankly, it don't matter.  Your DS-160 is your application that matters.  It really is just a hiccup and it really didn't change anything time wise for her except delayed in getting the nvc number.  Your embassy emails you when it is 'Ready' so maybe that is tomorrow or the next day?????  Anyways, even tho you can't see your case moving, it still is.

She's super nice.  Send her a message - she'll reply to you.  Maybe she will have a pointer to give you to get the number faster :D

Thanks so much! That's helpful, I didn't realize the embassy emailed you when they got the case - that's super helpful!

In our case, Petitioner got emails from embassy until DS-160 then they switched up to the Beneficiary email address.

Keep calling the NVC every day, around 1130pm is easiest and end of the day.  Just keep busy with your medical, police clearance, and other etc's as much as possible while this is going on - you will be ahead of the game

Oh I didn't think we could book the medical without the new number from the NVC. Luckily we've already got the police certificate and all the other documentation together. :jest:

Hey guys! Our wedding rings are available now to pick up, since were on a budget we spent a little less than a thousand on both combined, and yesterday we booked a reservation for the honeymoon for 2 days. A nice jacuzzi to relieve some of the built anxiety from this process. It's much needed, and I'm super stoked and can't wait. It's only less than a month from now that we get married. We only really need to get a half a keg of beer ordered for the wedding, and apply for his social security card. I have everything ordered for the wedding and we only need basic stuff like chips and soda for other people, but I can't believe everything is pretty much done. Catering, DJ, pastor, marriage license, wedding decorations, rings, cake, and all the major stuff is completely DONE. :) Now I have already started researching AOS so I can be ahead of this whole process and aware of everything I need to submit. I'm feeling super good about this, and to be honest, I'm looking forward to filing it even though the paperwork is gonna be tiring, but it's so worth it and I don't mind anything. This process has taugh me to be incredibly patient, and while the stress has been so intense in the last few months, I'm actually happy to experience it since I'm not very good at coping with stuff, and have pretty bad anxiety. I'm happier than I ever have been before. I hope everyone else is settling in, and many others have successfully got in the U.S. with their loved ones. I'm so happy for everyone of us here and wish I could personally congratulate everyone for how far we've come. We got so far and did quite a lot to get our loved ones here, and we deserve this. I hope you've all been doing well, and sorry again for my quietness. I had no idea how hard it was going to be to keep up with everything but I like to come on here to post and let everyone know how our journey is going. I think I will have to check out the AOS forum on here pretty soon, and hopefully I'll see many of you in there as well. :P

enjoy every day ! waiting for a wedding is no less festive than the wedding itself !

save in your memory every minute for life ! you will have many happiest days, and this day will be the magic key that opened the door to happiness to be together always

A favor to my fellow Filipino-filers. Hi guys. If any of you are just about to schedule their visa interview. I hope someone can give me a screenshot if they open an available schedule on november. We booked ours on december 1st just cause we didn't get the chance to book earlier. I was hoping any day in late november would be a miracle. I really wanna get back home to Texas before Christmas. But if the schedule doesn't change. We can't leave as early as I hoped.

My Timeline:

Me: Texas (US) Filipina by blood

Fiance: Zambales (Philippines)

NOA1: April 11

NOA2: September 5

NVC Received: October 5

NVC Left: October 10

Consulate Received: October 12

Was able to schedule apt: October 18

Medical Exam: (not yet decided)

Interview Date: December 1

Intended POE: any day before xmas will be awesome lol

To the one who are still waiting on their noa2s, nvc#s, etc. Hold on and keep your chin up. The longest wait is the noa2 only ;) In general lol Good luck and I am rooting for everyone. Congrats to the ppl whose visas were approved, VOH's, and POE's dated. Yall wondeful. I hope you enjoy and the love the U.S. as much as I do. .

Hi guys,

  1. where/how do you pay for the K1 visa fee?
  2. how you schedule the appointment? do you wait the (letter) from consulate with instructions to register/schedule the appointment?
  3. we have already sent the DS-160 and we have confirmation from the embassy they receive the case. They sent a letter pre-appointment checklist. We have verified and send the response accodingly
  4. Can we just paid and set up an appointment day. For us, the feeling is that the consulate give that with not chance to choose.

Cheers,
