I had my flu jab at the medical and I’ve been full of cold ever since. I think as long as you explain that you had your flu jab last week, it’ll be absolutely fine! :) don’t be nervous, the doctors and nurses are super friendly and helpful. Xx

My fiance called me on the phone full of excitement after his interview. We are APPROVED! He said the Officer was real nice and very conversational. She said she would ask 4 questions and ended up asking him over 20 questions in a very subtle manner. Who petitioned you? What does she do? Has she ever been married? Kids? How old? Birthdays? What address will you live at in the US? When and how did you meet your fiance? What are your wedding plans? Why the courthouse? How many times has your fiance visited Nigeria? When did you get engage? What are the dates of your fiance's visit to Nigeria after you started dating? Asked for recent pictures. Pointed to my mom and asked who is this? Where's this located? Any pics including your family? Showed more pics. He told me that the waiting was very excruciating with all the different lines. He arrived an hour earlier at 6am for a 7am scheduled interview and didn't complete the interview process until 10:30am. I'm so glad to finished with the interview and now we wait for the visa to be in hand and then POE (Atlanta, GA).

Congratulations to everyone that is making progress with their K-1 Visa journey and my prayers are with those of you that are waiting for progress. Just know that it will come and that it's all worth it.

Congratulations !!!!!!!

Im not @Estibaliz niether @Tatiana&D.S.

But I will give my two cents.

This information is what I know for sure for Mexico Consulate it could change for your embassy

1.No need for the documentation to be translate when rthe documents is on the native language for the consulate or in english. I.E. Mexico would be ok with doicuemtns in spanish and english.

Great help @MeliiGo, thank you very much. Still this first question, what about the paper that is not in native language, it is in German? Does that one need translation or apostil or notary? Please let me know, thanks again !

Guys you are awesome !!! Please @Estibaliz and @Tatiana&D.S. if you can please help one more thing, 3 questions for same purpose

1. Do we need to have the documents translated? One is from the country where the embassy is, and other from Germany

2. Do we need to have the documents apostil stamped?

3. Do we need to have them stamped at the notary public?

Thank you guys again, we just want to make sure everything is good, that there is no "please come back again with correct items"  answer at the interview. Thank you !

as i know from USCIS site, do not needed notary, or apostil...

you have to translate the documents if they are not in English, or beneficiary's country... so you must provide the translation of the document, issued in German... you can do it by your self, and certify : on the bottom you should write

I [typed name], certify that I am fluent (conversant) in the English and ________ languages, and that the above/attached document is an accurate translation of the document attached entitled ______________________________.

Signature_________________________     Date___________________

[Typed Name]

[Address]

phone number

i did translate my police certificate from Ukraine by myself...when you will write your name , your must write Name, then Middle name, then Last name  ...also you must translate the seals too.

I usually respond to posts, so it's a first for me to pose a question.

For those that have already received their visa from the Manila Embassy, how did you track it with 2Go?  Do you use the UID number from the Embassy appointment letter as the tracking number in 2Go's system?  I saw an old post that said to do that.  Did the Embassy send you notification with a number?

I'm curious as our status changed to "Issued" yesterday.

Thanks

Finally done.

DS-160 must be filled for every of you - for you and for your child, so you need to complete a separate DS-160 for your child.
