I have heard from Monica, she was approved, but we have a 221g for a couple of police clearance.  She is working on getting them now.

Congrats! If she works outside the PH as OFW she needs a police clearance in the country she worked. I hope she can submit it asap so she can fly to you before the Christmas. Goodluck!

She did work outside PH and knew about getting the PC, but Singapore and HK are different than others, you have to have something from the Embassy to get them.  So we had to wait on them.  She got them going yesterday after she got back from the Interview and hopefully they will not take too long to get.

Ah I see. I have known individuals, they used their NOA2 approval in making a request for the Police Clearance in SG and HK, so that by the time of their interview, all police clearance are set.

The point is you can't.  HK maybe before Interview with the letter from NVC, but Singapore you need a letter from the Embassy, so you can not get it before.

probably we are one of the last who passes such procedure of reception of police certificates:jest:

can anyone help me

what to answer in Qs 38 of form I134 affidavit of support

This has been brought up in both this thread and in other areas of the forum.  The consensus seems to be to mark "Intend" and then in Section 7 for additional information put "N/A (K-1 Visa Applicant)".

I don't think it really matters either way, as it is N/A anyway.  People have marked it both ways, and there doesn't appear to be any issues.

I should note that our form wasn't even asked for by the embassy (Manila). Others have had to submit, so, as always, your YMMV.
