How long did you wait for until you got your packet 3 email?

We did not wait for it, we just paid the fee and got confirmation page the same day, when the  status updated to READY on 11 September ....when we got email=packet 3 , it was just for notice for us : that we can pay the fee, fill DS-160, get the confirmation, what documents we have to prepare for interview, etc, etc.

Does anyone knows If I can change the interview at the embassy after I schedule it?

Of course, you can . Just you have to ask your embassy, how many times it is free.  We can change our appointment one time free, if more- we must pay the fee again.

So we got some really bad news today.. basically I've been quite sick lately. I went to the doctors a few weeks ago and they told me it was viral and would pass, it didn't and I went to my doctor today who told me I have a severe chest infection. I immediately thought of the chest X-ray at my medical as I was gonna book my medical for next week and my doctor told me that I need to give it 6 WEEKS because the infection will make the X-rays blurry or something. I literally called my fiancé crying as we were hoping I would actually be with him in 6 weeks.. he is gonna call Knightsbridge tomorrow but moving before Christmas seems really far fetched now 😥😥

You are not the one having the same unpleasant moments...do not upset, dear...just six weeks, you'll be fine. You can write to , she had the same, she even lost her passport at her medical, ...has been looking for, but ok then ...)...

Sorry, i forgot to write the name you can ask for: Sofia and Seth. Their interview 14 September...they wait for 6 weeks too, because of her x-ray.

There is much more important thing than Christmas: your health. ...you will have Christmas, S. Valentine's Day, and othets all your life together.

Hello everyone. 6 months and 1 day (184 days) since NOA1 and still no NOA2. My fiance called USCIS today, after they previously told us to wait for the 6 month line. We are now being told to wait until the online processing time updates to April 1st (which will be October 22nd) and I've completely lost my mind and all hope. I don't understand why it's taking so long. Each time they push us back more and more and I don't know what to do any more, I really don't.

I want to tell you: Never Never drop your hands and do not fall into despair !!!

Look ahead and draw the target, then " blow " straight forward!
Melodika256, I would have liked your merry avatar! ):P
we are here to rejoice of every day that brings us closer to our beloved !

Do not be upset ! You have a love, you have a future !

I saw people , 198 days of waiting.
The tracker sometimes stops, and then a whole stream of updates. Soon we will see your happy pretty face !!!

if we imagine the existence of the planet Earth - it's 24 hours on the dial of the clock, human civilization takes 5 minutes on it. How much is our life?

Is it possible to spend it on discouragement ???

No!  We have to be happy.

@_Mia_ Really sorry to hear the bad news :(

Unfortunately, it seems your doctor might be right and that was good advice. If your x rays weren't clean and you were sent for the sputum test, like some people around here (mostly in Philippines), then that test would delay everything two months minimum, apparently.

So hope you get well soon, since that's the most important thing and the delay is not that bad. Big hug.

yes it is ... sometimes the scars on the lungs after  bronchitis are visible on the X-rays
even after bronchitis at the  childhood period.
...so, doctors refer for sputum analysis

Question for any of you who have experience with the I-134 (affidavit of support) supporting document:  my bank is a credit union and, apparently, has problems coming up with a single sheet of paper signed by a bank officer stating my accounts, dates opened, and total deposits for the past year.  I had requested this from them and they sent me monthly statements for the whole year...lol.  Could those who have successfully gone through this process please tell me what supporting bank information you had provided?  Thanks so much.  :)
