I come seeking wise counsel

We want to schedule the interview. We have not paid for the interview yet. We have completed the DS-160. NVC Says "Ready". I called the embassy two times once last week and the second time just now. I asked both times when can I schedule my interview? First time it seemed like she was saying after the medical check. This time she said I can do it now!

The embassy web site says

Capture.PNG.a7093ade4a85e06e5d56fa00507a7ef6.PNG

I was asking a couple that went through this already. They said the Packet 3 was not worth waiting for. I have tried to ask them more questions with no response

The interview has to be in Poland so she needs a schengen visa. We need to schedule the interview to show why she is traveling there.

I just feel like I need to be doing something

I guess, you better ask Jana&Joel, their interview approved on 2. October, in Warsaw.

Lol. I guess I woke up in the middle of the night just to see this and reply. Our case changed to 'In Transit's exactly at the same time as yours (Tuesdays night Spanish time), and then to Ready some hours later, so tell Celia to keep an eye on it tomorrow morning.

I'm not sure if they email it or mail it, because it seems like a scan of the documents based on how quickly it changed to Ready, but when I emailed the Embassy they kept telling the case still had to be processed.

Anyway, if you see it change to ready tomorrow, and with Thursday being a holiday here, you should probably try and email them on Friday to move things along.

Ok, I'm back to sleep.

Hi to everyone that was nice enough to send good wishes for Gary's visit. We are doing fine. Actually he's reading over my shoulder while I'm up in bed. It's 5am, so we should sleep.

Goodnight!

Yay it was “Ready” this morning.

She will write soon and she is going to send her cats before.

Thank you =)

you can pay the fee and send DS-160 to the embassy, to get a confirmation page with a  bar code.

Uhhh, nope.  Ain't going to do that....

Haha, we are past the interview and submission of a revised NBI Clearance for a 221(g).  We are just waiting for Visa issuance like a few others.

Finally done.

The average at the moment is about 6 days for the NVC to process the case, and then about 3 days for the embassy to receive the forwarded case. You can check processing stats here http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1historical . Good luck!!! I hope it comes for you soon!

Our NOA2 date is the 23rd of September and I've been calling the NVC twice a day - nothing yet! Over this three day weekend I was really holding on to hope that we would get our new number today. No such luck has fallen upon us. I'm tired of waiting, I want to start doing!

Here's to hoping for tomorrow! ... or the next day... or the day after that... or the day after that

Hi! Nice to meet you. And thanks for the helpful info. I think I'll give it another week for my status to say "ready". I waited 5 months for my noa2 and 30 calendar days for for my nvc case number. I hope it doesn't get longer than this though. It's only been 6 days, not to mention the holiday that passed.

Don't worry! They say this part is the shortest now. (Noa2 was the worst wait I think. Lol) but don't you worry, I hope your case number gets there sooner and not like how long I waited lol good luck! Breathe in breathe out ;)

We're 175 days waiting and no NOA2 received. My fiance checked everything and still nothing received yet. Does anyone from here know who to call regarding this matter?

Hi. Try calling the USCIS number, if you haven't. Keep your chin up. It will come very soon when you least expect it.

The only advise I can give is, Smile and answer honestly.  That should be all you need.  You will show them that you have a genuine relationship and that the two(three) of you deserve to be together.  Good Luck.

I called about 21:30 yesterday evening. I was on hold for about almost an hour, but it was all good once I got the news! ... I am in Central Time zone and usually after 21:00 my time its straight in, but I am guessing because of the holiday everyone was calling lol

Ok, we called again last night and got the same answer! I think our files might be stuck together with a piece of gum or something! I called again this morning and will probably call again tonight.
