How do you check that it's at NVC? Do you call or is there a place online? I know I should have been paying attention as others have posted about NVC but I was so far behind everyone else I wasn't focused on the later steps!

Put in your case number in once you get it.

Should I send a copy of all pages of my passport?

If you send your passport make sure to include the biodata page in addition to that pages with the stamps. I got an RFE September 25 just for not including the passport biodata page along with my stamps. To cover all my bases I sent in passport scans of every page of my passport including the front and back cover. IMG_3926.thumb.jpg.5bc52217095916199a1c328c0622d69e.jpg

I got an RFE September 25 just for not including the passport biodata page along with my stamps. To cover all of my bases I sent in 155 pages of evidence including my ENTIRE passport including front and back cover and every page in between, Airbnb receipts, 75 page summary of our relationship including 100 photos, flight confirmations, chat logs, phone logs, among other things. This was to accompany, the photos, statement of how we met, flight confirmations, and passport stamps I sent originally. You could say I am a little sarcastic or just covering all of my bases...however the package I sent them was 1 lb 11oz. Currently awaiting NOA2. IMG_3926.thumb.jpg.5bc52217095916199a1c328c0622d69e.jpg

Wow ! You have a pile of photos!!! we sent 15. ))

I'll see if I can find the boarding passes from that trip, I used an electronic boarding pass on my flight leaving the states, but I can definitely send pictures of all the passport stamps and ID pages. Thanks for the quick reply and help

Yup, the others are right. They really want those passport stamps.

While it’s on topic... My F (the petitioner) is a dual citizen - so when he enters the U.K., he does so with his British passport (as required by U.K. Borders) and when he enters the US, he uses his US passport - therefore he doesn’t have any stamps to prove entry to UK in his US passport.

We’ve submitted boarding passes, accommodation receipts etc. and every page of his US passport.

What would happen if we get an RFE for his passport stamps when there aren’t any?

As the beneficiary can send my I-94 record along with my passport stamps for my US trips during our relationship.

If you can prove that at least one of you has visited the other in the past two years then that is all that is required. Therefore, your passport stamps to the USA along with your pictures with him and other receipts will do the job.

My NVC status now says “in transit”

Does that mean it is going to the embassy?  If so is it by regular mail or emailed?

Yes it is. And it is an expedited mailing process. Mine took three days to get to UK.

Yes that means it is on its way to the Embassy. I believe it should probably flip to Ready tomorrow for you given the current time in Spain/US.

Hey @spike198 just wanted to let you know, that I just called and it turns out  they said ours was received already.  I had called this AM and they had not received anything.  There was a looong hold time but was worth it.  I say try giving them a call as soon as you can, they might have your case already...:jest::jest:
