Did you do any sort of tracking on the package? If not, you may or may not get notified so you might have to call to find out. The tracker stopped working for us after they received our rfe response so I wouldn't trust it completely

Oh how I can relate, but as some others have said, I think it is time that you all get your congressman or woman involved. It's quick and simple if you've got a good one. I was at 172 days when we finally received word of our approval and we only got that approval, I am convinced, because of the congressional inquiry that was placed on our behalf. More often then not, they will pull the case and work it then. As far as calling and speaking to Tier 2, I bet I called over 30 times and out of that 30 I got three that gave me good information, so it is really hit or miss with those guys. Just don't loose all hope and have no expectations from this point forward; it seems to ease the burn at least it did for me. We are at the mercy of the Government processes here and I know those workers are busting their hind ends to get these approvals in but with the volume of petitions some just fall behind. I get it, it sucks, especially seeing all these approvals and still no word on yours, but hang in there your day is coming. You guys are through with the worst of the wait and look on the bright side, it is the last October 9th you'll have to be apart!  The rest of this process seems to be easy because these things fly through NVC, at least in comparison to USCIS at least from what I have observed. It just a matter of the petition getting to NVC... yeah we're still waiting. Maybe tomorrow he arrives  or maybe not ... who knows lol  Good Luck to you!

I'm in the same boat...

NOA1 April 27th.

My senator has followed our case for the past two years (beginning with our previous petition).

I've called Tier 2 many times in the past month, still nothing.

I've submitted an inquiry with Tier 1 with no real reason in the response.  It says after 30 days have passed, you can email the service center directly.   I've done that as well.   The USCIS website states that if a satisfactory response is not received in 21 days, you can email the head office over the service centers- I will be doing that this week if I am not approved.

Beneficiaries cannot call USCIS for I-129F's because it is not their application (it is the petitioner's).  Beneficiaries will not be given any information.

@vcpdragon have you called NVC yet? I'm gonna call tomorrow. Are you ready to go other than that? I love having someone else that is at the exact same point as us! Sorry if I keep asking a bunch of questions!

Oh my. Have you tried calling? Or your fiance rather? Why not calling the nvc?

 

Maybe the noa2 was sent but never arrived in the address. Maybe you're already approved but you don't know about it. I've read cases that were like yours and when they called nvc, it was already at the consulate.

I'm kinda over him).  He gave me our file and I will be adding the additional documents from my last two visits, phone logs, texts, etc.  The DS160 is done and submitted.  Police records have been requested and we are going to call NVC tomorrow to hopefully get our case number.  We haven't gotten it yet and haven't called so hopefully we can get it tomorrow (or soon!)  Our NOA2 date is 9/22 so it's been almost 3 weeks.  We were thrown a bit of a curve ball today as we found out we need to get a Certificate of No Impediment of Marriage before he goes for his interview.  I guess I should have done a bit more research, but then again, we hired an attorney to help us with that type of stuff and today was the first we heard of it.  In addition, I've asked him (attorney) a couple of times about getting his vaccines in advance of the medical as I understand it's often cheaper than waiting and getting it at the medical.  In addition, he can grab his medical records while he's there and kill 2 birds with one stone.  The attorney kept telling us the wait.  I think he thought I wanted to make his medical appointment because today he told me to go ahead and do it.  Ugh!  I'm beyond frustrated because now my fiance is running all over the island of Jamaica trying to get everything done quickly when we could have been doing it over the past few weeks.  At this point, it is what it is, but I think sometimes he forgets that we have jobs and other things to do and I/we can't just drop everything to get these tasks completed.  Anyway, that's my rant of the day.  On a different note, am I forgetting anything else that I need to do?  

you need send all your financial documents with the original signatures of black ink to him, for an interview.
I did not hear about a Certificate of No Impediment of Marriage,  i provided  Certificate of Divorce for my interview...so, there is a difference for Jamaica...about medical - your fiance should go  to the website IOM in his country and get an information, if he wants to get any shots before medical, he has to go to his doctor and do it...he can get vaccinations at the medical exam too, but he will pay.and he can get the vaccinations in U.S.
then he must prepare all documents for medical exam ( money,if payment will be in cash, photos, records of vaccinations, etc according to requirements of IOM in Jamaica) and go on !)) ... according "wait" for medical - maybe attorney says to wait, because of the fact like in Russia : for scheduling the day of medical exam we must know our appointment of interview, because at the medical we provide the Confirmation of the  interview.

Hey Guys!  I have a question regarding the DS160 and need advice.

 

We encountered some problems filling out the ds160 form. It kept timing out on us and couldn't get past the photo and security question. We did some research and read somewhere that Firefox was needed. After downloading the new browser we were able to continue on, but now that we are reviewing it, we noticed the Educational Background section disappeared. We decided to just create a new application since she hasn't signed and submitted it yet, but same thing keeps happening - education background disappeared again.

 

I really don't know what to do? Should we just sign and submit and just explain to the CO?

You have to fill from the beginning and save the form at every point while you will fill it.
