Visa Approved!
Time Line:

NOA1: Apr 17
NOA2: Sep 2
Medical: Sep 26 (1day only)
Interview: Oct 5.

Pre Screening.
Filipina Consul Windows 46
Questions:

How are you today?
Are you working?
What’s your fiancé Job?
How did you met?
When did you saw each other?
Have you been to other country?
Why didn’t you live with your dad in Singapore?

Finger Scanning.
American Consul.

Interview
Windows 65

Greeted him ‘goodmorning’
Questions:

How are you today?
Are you still working?
What are your fiancé hobbies?
Do you have kids?
Were you married before?
What’s your fiancé job?
Do you plan on continuing working with IT related job in the US?
Does your fiancé work in a government?

I was smiling all the time. I was holding my mom’s holy rosary. I went inside the embassy full of hope and love. I went there and imagine all the things happened to me and my fiancé while we’re still on a process. Yes, nervousness is real but as long as its 100% genuine you’ll never go wrong!

I am happy!

To God be the Glory! 😊

Congrats little lady! So rooting for you! Send me updates! :)

Hi guys congratulations with all the approvals and they ones who hasn't it yet, still in there because it will come!

I have a couple of questions about the I-134 (or I-135) the Affidavit of Support:

We send it together with the I-129F for the NoA1-NoA2

So, I got a copy including all the support documents.

For the interview:

1) Do we need the original (wet signed form) or only the copy will be sufficient?

2) Do we need a "recent" dated form or if that was dated on last March/April will be sufficient?

3) do we need more recent payslips if that is the case or pay slips of march/April will be sufficient?

thanks guys and greetings!

Jesus

Congratulations!

You can input your case number here https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx now to check your case status to track when it has been sent to your embassy. Make sure you select immigrant visa :)

I'm not sure how it works in the Philippines as to whether you can book the medical now or if you have to wait for your case to be at the embassy. You may also be able to complete your DS-160 form which you will need for your interview. Also make sure you have your CFO seminar scheduled.

Probably they didn't even take a look at your Affidavit, since it's not required for the initial petition and that's a competence of the Consular Officer at the Embassy, to check and have the final word on your visa Approval.

Since it's been over 6 months and they are interested in the current situation (we all know how fast can things change when it comes to work and finances), I most certainly would send updated documents.

Regarding the original/scanned documents, we've talked about that here before and there's no consensus. I think most of us wanted to have originals, because better safe than sorry...
