heh as i said i didn't send in any of that but i did send a G-325A because that change was made around the same time i filed and when i requested the forms from USCIS they sent it so i filled it out. I don't see where the problem is, i got a RFE and they've requested everything you mentioned so it isn't a concern that i didn't send it becuase they asked for it, i have it so i'll send it, my concern is this long form birth certificate.

In a post from @Estibaliz is mentioned about some Embassies/Consulates might have electronic system and others not. Just by chance is there is a list or somewhere on internet we can see that?

 

I think here in NL not that many people follows the procedure and Im curious about it

make it simple on yourself, if you have ANY kinda birth certificate from Ohio, and it has a seal, like embossed or a stamp showing it is a true and correct copy - make a copy of it and send it in.  You can also show that you are a USC by copying every single page - every one - of your passport.  Make a copy of the cover, too just to be thorough.

 

If you really wanna nail it home, send them copies of your passport and your BC.

 

As far as Long form or short form birth certificate, I do not believe Ohio has that choice.  In Ohio, it is just one form (unless things changed since I was there)  I hear Canadians talking about Long and Short forms - but never have I heard it mentioned in OH.

According to the instructions that USCIS provides, this is what you must submit:

Evidence of U.S. citizenship which may include any of the following:
A. A copy of your birth certificate issued by a U.S. civil authority;
B. A copy of your original Certificate of Naturalization;
C. A copy of your original Certificate of Citizenship;
D. A copy of your Form FS-240, Report of Birth Abroad of a Citizen of the United States;
E. A copy of your valid, unexpired U.S. passport or passport card issued with a validity period of at least five years;
or
F. A statement executed by a U.S. consular officer certifying that you are a U.S. citizen and the bearer of a currently
valid U.S. passport.

I guess people are busy moving on with the process and taking care of things. And the ones still waiting, 5-6 months after filling, are probably not in the best mood to see others progressing.

Hope lots of you get your NVC# and cases moving to the Embassy, and even more NOA2'S, because... About time!

What options are you selecting when calling? I think London has electronic cases, so you should give it a try at the Immigrant line, option 5 (after 1 for English). You are still within the average time, but worths trying.

Well he's been calling, however he keeps telling me that he chose option 3 and that option 5 is change of address?? Maybe we have the wrong number?

Call: (603) 337-0700 - Option 1 for English.  Then Option 5 for Electronic.

Hadn't  I sent you once a link to the website where supposedly you can see that? Though I couldn't ever figure it out 

Easiest way to do it, call option 5 and see what they have to say. We did that and they told us to call 7 since not electronic cases for Spain.

For any UK'ers here, wondering what your timelines have been? Currently NOA1 received April 18th and still waiting for that NOA2. Was hoping someone can fill me with some enthusiasm after this long wait!

My timeline is listed in my signature below. NOA2 was received after 4.5 months, NVC received and assigned case number exactly 2 weeks after and I have scheduled our medicals for this week and Interview is next week

 

Once you get your NOA2, everything speeds up and it's hard to keep up! Have you tried calling?

Yeah we called about a month ago and we were told around mid sept to mid oct, which now i think about it is more guess work than anything else.. We might just try calling again soon, was planning on giving it 6 months first before we chased up. Ironically our were received on the same day, so might phone up purely based on the huge gap! Thank you so much for letting me know though
