So our case managed to get out of the NVC on Friday. We've managed to reach supervisor and complained about based 30 days. Maybe that call worked, who knows, we've even heard apologies from supervisor for such a delay. 

Today ceac status shows "Ready". Awaiting for a call/email from the embassy to proceed with ds160 registration and interview booking.  Medical done two weeks ago. A bit confused cause when I gave case number at the medical it was without two digits and KEV letters in the end that appeared today after case was received by the embassy. Hope it won't be an issue.

Congrats on being closer to the end of the process, and don't worry about the new digits there, since I'm pretty sure that's a standard thing they do for when there are also K2's included (they show listed like KEV 002, KEV 003 and so on). Anyway, case number is the original one, three letters and 10 numbers.

Monica has passed her medical and only had to have 2 immunizations.  YEAH!  Now waiting for the Interview.

no NOA2 and again, no response from USCIS as we are "within normal processing times" - idk 174 doesnt feel 'normal'

fiance wont contact senator, as he doesnt want to look like a fool

So i got my RFE today, one of the things it asks for to verify i am a US born citizen is a long form birth certificate. I have my birth certificate but i'm not sure if it's a "long form" version, it merely states the state i am born in, where i was born, when i was born, date filed, my parents names, the file number and my name. It's stamped by the registrar.

 

Would this constitute a long form or is it something else?

Did you submit your passport pages when you sent in the I-129f?

No i did not. but it is one of the ways they describe to show you are a US citizen. but if i can send in my birth certificate too then that's just more evidence to me

If you did not send in your Passport pages and did not send in your BC, then what did you send to show you are a US Citizen?  It states one of them is required.

Nothing that's why they sent the RFE. i just sent in the 129f, no supporting documents so now they're asking for them and i can't find what a long form birth certificate is

Did you put the packet together by yourself?  Did you use any kind of guide to do it?  There are requirements that need to be submitted with the packet.  If you didn't send anything with the I-129f, then this is only a part of the problem.  Did you submit the Intent to Marry for each of you?  Did you submit the proof that you had met in person and that you have an ongoing relationship?  If you used the new form then the G-325A is not nec as it is a part of the form.  What about pictures?
