My CEAC Status says "ready" for interview.. what does that mean? Can I schedule my appointment now or do I have to wait for the US Embassy to contact me re: the interview and documents to prepare?

It's more embassy specific.  For Nigeria, I know I can schedule as soon as it says ready.  Some countries make you wait for instructions.

Our Journey:

Soo, again been really busy. We filed AOS earlier this week and I’m hoping to get my drivers lisence next week. I got my learners permit a couple of weeks ago and been driving as much as possible but it’s so scary when you’ve never had a lisence before lol.  I hope everyone is doing well and are happy and wish the rest of you that are still going through the process the best of luck!! ❤️❤️
