I called and finally got my NVC case number today after a little over 6 weeks of waiting for those of you were also waiting. They said they don't have an exact timeline for mailing them out, but recently it's been a few days before mailing.

I was approved 11/10, still waiting for NVC to receive it, did you just have to wait it out or made calls back to USCIS about why it took so long?

Well Today is a much happier day than I have had in awhile.  Last night before going to bed on a lark I decided to check the CEAC site and guess what?

Thank you my friend, you don't know how relieved I am that it is finally happening.  Although, not holding my breath until I can hold her on this side of Customs.  Yes the best Christmas gift of all.

I had my K1 embassy interview November 29th at the Stockholm embassy. The Interview was really quick and easy and we were approved. (they had received my medical in time and tolled me that they had all the documents that they needed) .I was told they would mail the passport within 10 days. (on VJ it looks like most people receive there passport withing 5-10 days from the Stockholm embassy)
It has now been 13 days
The CEAC tracker has been updated several times since the interview, but still says it is "ready" for the interview.
The phone tracking of my passport  through the embassy does not work. Both my passport number and UID get a "number not valid" response.
I tried talking to a embassy representative on the phone, but they sounded like they had no information about the situation, and tolled me that the embassy was allowed 60 days to process my case.(sounded like a standard answer)
I have also e-mailed the embassy, they only tolled me that my passport is still being processed at the embassy(as of December 12) and ignored the rest of my questions.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?
Is there anything me or my fiance can do to make the process go faster at this point?

Hello everyone,

My case was approved and I just wanna to ask how I can check the transit of the visa.

approximately. minimum in 2 weeks you will get NVC number ... then u can truck your case on CEAC site, under IMMIGRANT VISA ....you will know then the date when your case will come to the embassy in beneficiary's country, then you can make an appointment for medical exam, interview , etc ))) good luck! Congrats !)

I just waited it out and called once a week, but they told me each time that anything under 6 weeks was still within normal processing time. The processed it and assigned a case number in the last few hours of the last day of the last week.

It took us 1 day to go through AP and he was approved.  Visa was issued the next day and took 2 days to get Montego Bay (DHL said it could take a week)

Well newest wrinkle. We went to do the name change on her existing SSN and of course they said 4-5 weeks to process with Homeland Security since of course she doesn't have her name in the system that way. Hopefully that goes smoothly. Will talk with the lawyer about order of operations now for the AOS and other paperwork. Wedding was on the 8th and we got back from the mini-honeymoon yesterday. Hopefully everything is going smoothly for everyone else.

Just to give an update, if there is anyone else waiting on NVC Received. I just got off the phone with USCIS according to the representative she said she could see our case in the system and it looked like for some reason they still have not sent it to NVC. She said it could take up to 90 days to send to NVC.
