Well she just boarded the first plane. 5.5 hour flight, 5 hour layover, 12.5 hour flight and she will be here. This time tomorrow I will be arriving at the airport awaiting her arrival through customs.

Hey everyone 

 

Hope everyone is doing good, for everyone that wished me good luck on my poe! It all went very smoothly we travelled with our dog. I arrived in JFK at 2225, everyone was very friendly. The man at the first desk didn't ask me any questions just called for me to go over to the k1 visa stand and told me to have a great new life here. I then went to secondary where they were processing the visas, they said I was probably the last k1 for the night. He didn't ask me any questions and within 5 minutes I was free to go! :) 

 

Its been a busy week with lots of driving hence why I've only just updated this..  heres some pics of our family in the US. 

 

Just wondering what should I do now in prep for visa so as soon as we get married and get our marriage certificate (Get married December 15) we can send it off ASAP.

We're really excited!  We just applied for her SAN. We will definitely post pictures. Good luck on your POE! Just remember the hardest part is over.

Yes, it has now been 1 month since our NOA2 and still haven't heard anything from NVC. I called last week, gave them my case receipt number and was told they don't have it yet. I was also told that I should be patient and wait up to 4 more weeks before hearing from them because it's still in the normal processing time. I look at other cases on here though and find that hard to believe.
