So I finally have K1 & K2 Visa in hand!

 

We were so worried that my son's wouldn't come at the same time as it didn't have a tracking number attached but it's here!!

 

Going through the very stressful experience of trying to book a flight for this weekend and early next week! Wish me luck

Well, given the limitations of booking rewards travel we went ahead and gambled on booking her POE ticket. Leaves Nepal November 28th, arrives 29th with only a single stop in South Korea on the way.

She got her paperwork today, has to go to the bank to pay her DS-160 fee and to the police station for her certificate tomorrow. They have appointments as early as the 2nd of November if she can get medical done fast enough. I suspect no, but she is looking at the week after for interview. Leaves us plenty of time even with Thanksgiving in there. Fingers crossed it all goes smooth, but I can rebook/move the ticket to December 13th if we are forced to.

What flight path did you end up chosing?

Also, did you just get the one big white envelope and your passport back? (just checking I got it all)

Yeah we are flying on Friday, Heathrow to Charlotte with American Airlines. Yeah I got the massive envelopes, our passports and then one a4 folder that I think is the medical results.

Congrats!!!   I don't recall if you posted about this, but did you end up getting your medical sent the same day as your interview?  I see you had a 2 week wait for your visa's and I'm wondering if that had anything to do with it.  Thanks for the info and congrats again!

a Consule in Warsaw definitely looks through pictures that one brings to the interview...

so am I supposed to print out all the photos we've put into the original petition or am I supposed to bring new ones...

and if new ones - do they want to see only photos from AFTER the petition was filed or the photos from the WHOLE length of the relationship?

Thank you. Yeah my medical got the embassy a couple of hours after our interview. We were approved on the Monday after our interview and the visas were delivered a week and 1 day after that which I think is pretty typical for the London embassy

 

Thank you everyone for all the congratulatory messages! Hopefully it won't be long until we all cross the finish line!

Today was a long one I had my medical exam after 7 hours traveling.  But everything went well the result are all good ,  and I have them with me . So ready for the interview 6 November . And congrats for all those had there interviews and flight
