Hey guys. We got our NOA2 on Oct 19 but so far, NVC hasn't received it yet. Is that normal? I see people with a time span of 10 days max between NOA2 and their NVC case number. :( We keep calling them and I have even filled out their online formular but they apparently still haven't received it.

I might suggest a Congressional Inquiry at this point. It is really wierd and there seems to be a cluster of NOA2's from the 18/19 time frame that fell into a black hole.

Ugh. :( We'll do that. We seem to be super unlucky since our RFE was stuck forever too and we had to talk to our congressman in order to get things moving. Our NOA1 was back in April.

Enjoy your time with your love.  Yes, now the 20th, she will be leaving from Hong Kong after flying there on Saturday 11/18.  That flight was the Cheapest that I could find and gets her POE here in the NW.  I don't want to wait the extra time for her to fly down here to Portland.  Want to see her as soon as possible and we can see some of Seattle after she gets here.  Still waiting to hear your good news that you got your NOA2.

Monday - USCIS were not doing any transfers.
Tuesday - Tier 2 called after 4 hours, and said that they will look into why we have been skipped and they will "HOPEFULLY" get back to us by 30th November (this does not mean we will get NOA2 by this date, this is just them finding out why we were missed).

I've waited 7 months, I'm not about to wait another two weeks.

Can someone who wrote to Senate about their NOA1 PM me/reply with a brief template I could use and work around? Thank you.

I just called my senior senators office and asked for the immigration person. They connected me and then e-mailed me a release form to fill out along with the information about the case.

The office for the Senator just has a standard form they use to help them do there work. So your fiance just needs to call the local office for the Senator and they can get the process started.

I had my medical this week and just got the e-mail from the clinic that all my test are good, and they send me a copy of the DS-3025.
But it looks like the clinic is using an old version of the DS-3025. The from says in the top corner that it expired 9-30-2017.
Does anyone know what the current expiration date should be?

I'm not sure if either of you read my comment in the recent NVC thread but Im from Canada and waited a month for my NVC number back in the summer.  There was several other Canadians who had a longer than normal wait and one German, so it might apply to you both.  We were processed electronically and I guess it takes longer and the people in the call centre (option 7 at the time) can't see your file, you have to use a different option (for me, it was option 5, but they might have changed it).

I got my NOA2 May 19, started calling about 2 weeks later and was always told "not received" until finally on June 20 someone told us we were an electronic case and to use option 5.  We called that and were told it was received June 6 and it can take up to 2 weeks to get a number.  So we called back that night (as it was 2 weeks from June 6th that day) and they had our number ready.

No guarantees this is what's happening, but if youve been waiting a few weeks and see people after you getting a number, it's quote possible.

We sent our evidence back and have had an update that they have received it and are continuing to process it. Now I actually have a job when i arrive because my company are willing to move me to the US office, but we have discussed the fact the work permit means i can't work for the first 3-4 months. Now they've just offered to move me on an L1 visa to get me over and working asap, does anyone know if it's possible to move on that and get get married to my fiance? Nothing has been finalised but it's in discussion but im not sure how that could impact our current plans.

Have you looked into going on K1, getting married, AOS and request expedited EAD given you have a job offer with a US firm (presuming the British firm has a sister US company)?

I was told by our immigration team you can't expedite the work permit.

Hmm. I’m sure I’ve read it on these forums that it’s possible before now. Have a dig around the message boards..  However, it’s the sort of thing that the likes of @Boiler or @Wuozopo may have knowledge on. Good luck.

Edit: just a thought.. could your Immigration team be confusing H1B and other work visas with family based visas that you adjust status within the US?

Nah they said that family based visa is the one you really cant do much about, they might be wrong but that is what they said. Hence why we talked about an L-1
