Currently I would say yes, that's too soon. If you can move the flight it might be better to be looking at April/May to be safe. Looks like it's taking 5-6 months.

I had the same idea actually, but then decided I would forever have that 'one spare flight' because I would always need to book 2 way flights for it to be cheap enough. So in the end just opted for the cheapest date for the return which happened to be January.

Hope this helps!

If you're flying with Air Norwegian or similar, it only costs c£75 admin fee to change a return flight date. Check the t's and c's on your ticket @rachied26 and I wish you, and @S*UK  wonderful wedding days. Best wishes.

Hi. From UK, fiance in California. NOA1 on 11 April and no RFE or NOA2. We keep being told to wait for the online system to update. My fiance is very worried about upsetting them, and so we are going to wait until the online tracker hits past 6 months. To be honest, if we wrote to senator, it would have updated online by then.

Thinking of you @Melodica256

Wow so exciting, have you started packing yet? Mine is JFK flying from London Heathrow. What about you hun?

Yes and scary too!
Ive packed all the things that I can: Clothes, shoes, important items. I dont have any big possesions that need shipping because I still live with my parents.

I managed to get a direct flight to the US with British Airways. Im doing London Heathrow to Raleigh, NC. What time is your flight? I might see you at the airport haha!

Hi everyone! Congrats on all the approvals!!

I had a pressing question for you all, I am filing Adjustment of Status tomorrow and was wondering if anyone knew anything about average processing times? We are in Seattle so I imagine it will go to one of the California offices...

I THINK I OFFICIALLY JUST CRACKED.

221 days since NOA1 (April 11), no RFE, no NOA2, countless calls being told that it's being worked on, to wait and they now update the tracker saying they're working on SEPTEMBER CASES AND ONWARDS.

Then what the holy #### happened to my case? I'm crying, I've lost it. I was meant to be moving there this time of year, getting married by Christmas.

  • 04/11/2017 - I-129F Received - NOA1

  • 12/19/2017 - NOA2

I feel you... I've done all I know to do at this point.  My senator's office has followed our case since 2015, I've done 2 case inquires, and I've emailed the Service Center Operations unit with no response.

The case inquiries are responded to by saying that we're in an "extended review" but will not give any reason or justification.
