For my i134 my future father in law is our co sponsor he sent me the package which contains a letter from his work stating its a full time permanent job and how much he earns, a letter from the bank stating how much he deposited last year and also 3 years of full tax returns. Is this sufficient?

Oh yes I do he sent a copy of his birth certificate and passport. Also for the interview, tell me if I'm missing anything:

Ds160 printed off

Passport photos x2

new pictures of matt and I & letters to say we intend to marry within 90 days.

police certificate

Affidavit of support

Passport and previous passports

birth certificate

If you receive the letter from the embassy take that as well :)

I noticed on the embassy website that it says to take an original and a photocopy of everything So I did that as well but they just photocopy for you  if you haven’t done that.

Hey guys!

My fiancé is about to send his notification for readiness... We are just gathering all of our info. I had one quick question about the financial evidence. The checklist says to provide an affidavit and federal income tax returns. I am only a student so my grandma is sponsoring my fiancé... She has filled out an affadavit for him. Is she required to provide tax returns as well or is that for me?

I moved abroad after university and have been away for 4 years. So I haven't payed US taxes... I did pay taxes in the countries I was working in (China, Germany, Thailand). So if the federal tax return requirement is for me, would we just explain that I've never worked in the states and that I've been abroad? Would the affadavit be enough?

Hope I'm making sense...

Thank you!
