I just got a call from Shehide and her visa was approved! We did a video chat and I could tell the outcome by her smile without her saying a word. They asked her 3 questions during the interview. 1. When did you meet your fiance? 2. How did you meet? 3. When did he give you your engagement ring? She picks up her visa next Wednesday and her flight is scheduled for October 30th. Edona will get to go trick or treating for the first time! Maybe tonight I'll rediscover sleep... Assuming the euphoria subsides.

Congrats!   The home stretch, almost across the finish line.......  Well done! Speedy POE

Interview date availability is what concerns me...All up to Nov 21 are filled already. But it is what it is.

Hi, keep on checking available dates every know and then. A lot of petitioner failed their medical exam because of sputum and with that they cancelled their set interview dates. With that there will be an open slots for the earlier dates.

Unfortunately my visa was denied today. My interview went well. I told the VO that i sent my fiancee some money for ticket to  and visit me, she ask for the receipt  which i gave it to her.. My fiancee forgot to send me the W2 and at the end the VO told me that she is not convinced and she believe that my fiancee does not have a job.   My fiancee never new that they will ask for the W2 and that was why she didn't send it to me.  My fiancee has contact the immigration lawyer today as regards my denial. Please advise on what i should do?

See page 77 of this thread.  You have 3 options - one of which has to be made quickly

Hello everyone!

I'm having terrible NVC troubles and it's driving me totally bananas. So our case was approved on September 23rd and I started calling the NVC 9 days after. On October 11th I found out they finally received the case from the CSC. Anyway, I posted on here earlier explaining that when I called the next day and they asked for Sam's birthday, they said what I told them wasn't what they had on file. I sent an email to correct it but it's been a week of calling twice a day and still nothing!! They keep saying there's no time frame for answering emails and they can't give me any information without the "correct" birthday. I've checked all the other paperwork including the NOA1 and his birthday is correct on there. So they just made a mistake and now it's costing us dearly. It just seems like it's such a simple thing to fix - I sent them everything they requested for the fix in the email, including a copy of his birth certificate. I keep trying to figure out a way to fix this or speed it up - I'm wondering if I could ask to speak to a manager with the hopes they could look up my email, see that I have his correct birthday, fix it, then just give me the darn new case number already!

Ahhh sorry, I just needed to vent my frustration to people that would understand. People not going through this process - despite their love and caring - just don't understand how all this works.

This happens more than you realize.  I remember when @Yzabelle was in your shoes..... She immediately got on the ball - sent email with correct info - Yes it was a slight delay but not that bad.  It is understandable to be upset, but by chance that you have to be 'the one' they messed up on but it will get corrected.  In Yzabelle's case, they never actually got the B'day fixed, got it sent thru embassy to visa issue and she's like a week or two younger now LOL  Just roll with the punches, don't stress too much - it will work itself out.  Soon, maybe tomorrow, you will see it 'In Transit'.

Sorry to hear but unfortunately someone did not research enough and go by what was suppose to be given in the I-134 you are suppose to have back taxes and pay stubs to show if asked and being she failed to send them that means either she forgot or does not have a job to produce them specially if you had to send her money to visit you. So there for she probably would not have been able to meet the 100% that was needed and at AOS filing she has to show 125% with only you 2 but if kids are involved the income level goes higher.

Oh interesting! How did they end up getting the information for the case? Since they won't give me any info, I'm scared I won't be able to see if it gets sent to the embassy or even when they do get it.
