I have no idea when they actually got the documents, they didn't tell me. They just gave me the number today when I called and asked.

My NOA 2 was 9/25

I called NVC on 10/6 I was told they hadn't received my package

Called again on 10/12 and was  told they had my packet but case number not yet assigned

So called again today 10/13 and was given case #

And asked when they received my package and she didn't have that ??

Just FYI...should have yours on Monday!

Hello everyone. 6 months and 1 day (184 days) since NOA1 and still no NOA2. My fiance called USCIS today, after they previously told us to wait for the 6 month line. We are now being told to wait until the online processing time updates to April 1st (which will be October 22nd) and I've completely lost my mind and all hope. I don't understand why it's taking so long. Each time they push us back more and more and I don't know what to do any more, I really don't.

Got approved in 190 days on 12 October.. it will come soon

Hi we're of the same timeline and are porobably assigned to the same adjudicator. We are on 186 days... USCIS received our RFE response last Sept. 22, 2017. and we haven't heard from them yet too, we have attempted to call the senator, and are waiting for their response still. We will contact USCIS when we hit the first month mark since they received our RFE

Let's keep holding on! God is good! Ours will come sooner than we thought it would be.

Congrats! Very happy for you :) I hope your interview comes on smoothly.

But dyou think the november schedules could change? We've been notified with our status being "ready" but I we are still waiting for certain documents needed for the interview and they are being mailed from the u.s. so it's gonna take a bit while. I'm planning to get my fiance to the u.s. on the last week of november but apparently it shows the week before that is the only available slot. Dyou think it could change and somehow get a schedule earlier than that on november? :(

There really is no certainty to your question. The best thing to do is schedule your appointment before the slots run out, and keep checking back to see if someone has cancelled on an earlier date, but keep in mind you could only reschedule once.

While waiting for your documents to arrive try getting the CFO seminar and medical out of the way for smooth sailing.

Goodluck! 😊

@Sally08 EDIT: I guess there’s no more limit to how many times you can reschedule.

Happy Saturday everyone!!!  Today, I fly out to Vietnam to be with my fiancee for our interview on 10/20/17.  I really REALLY hope it goes smoothly and we get approval.  Maybe I'll run into some of my fellow VJer's at the consulate.  Wish us luck, and I'll be sure to update everyone when I get back.

Wonderful news!!! I don't think that you have anything to worry about and I'm looking forward to your post announcing that you are both here together in the US at last... :)

Hey everyone :) i've been so busy recently at work I havent had time to follow everyones case so I hope that things are running smoothly for you all.

I have my interview on Tuesday, so hopefully all will go well with that. I know there are a few of us all interviewing around the same time so good luck to you all!

@Salty2305 Sorry to hear they didnt have your medical in time. I hope it doesnt delay things too much? Since they received it that same day I would imagine you hear from them about being approved very soon. Did you hand over your passport anyway? (thats always a good sign that things will go quickly)

@Melodica256 im actually so sad that you still havent received your approval yet. Its so upsetting to see them working on other peoples case whilst yours is still sat in a pile somewhere! I can completely sympathise with you when your fiance is not wanting to 'look stupid'. Its hard because we as the beneficiary cannot do anything to enquire about our cases. I didnt have to go down that route luckily, but I know that if it had come to it, my fiance would almost certainly have not gone to his congressman for fear of looking dumb.

@Estibaliz hope you're having fun with Gary! I dont remember your POE but good luck for the big day! (the first of many big days to come!)

@Mike & Tuyen Good Luck for the interview! Its so nice that youll be there to support her through that :)
