Hi guys. Quick question. How do I send my filled ds-160 to the embassy and get the confirmation page/barcode? I'm kinda lost.

STATUS UPDATE: "in transit"

Yayyy

DS-160 is done and submitted online.  The confirmation page with barcode is available after you submit it.

I know you can save it and upload it later, but I have no clue how to do that.  Maybe someone here has done that and can answer if that is what you are trying to do.

Finally done.

I don’t know which of you I am talking to, but make sure it is submitted by the person in the Philippines.  This is because he/she is submitting and electronically signing the form. The embassy will be able to tell if the US fiancé/fiancée does it instead.

Do you think the NVC number got linked to my DS160 somehow...? Basically the reason I'm asking is that we did the DS160 before we got the NVC number and where it ask is your child joining you later we ticked yes... I didn't want to tick yes but my fiance pointed out that he will  in fact be with us for a long time over the summer and all the other holidays and the the end goal is him moving over eventually... should we maybe not have ticked no? could this be why we have two numbers?...

I’m honestly not too sure I’m afraid, I would definitely call NVC and confirm what your next move is.

Once your CEAC status is ready, you can call Knightsbridge and arrange then medical and then book your interview.

Sorry I'm being annoying today.. For UK filers, after my CEAC says our case is ready do I then book the medical or and after the medical book my interview? I'm slightly confused if I need to wait for the confirmation in the post.

maybe there is some special for UK, ... i just know that in Russia we schedule first the interview , then medical exam, because we provide  confirmation for appointment of interview at the medical exam .

You need to now call Knightsbridge and schedule a K1 medical exam.
