I think they just mean their fiancé was playing with them, though I could be wrong

Playing yes, but what kind of playing?

What happened? Is something wrong?

He's been a bit hesitant from the beginning cause hes young but I was hoping by now he'd appreciate the difficulty and march through, but even now he hesitates, hes afraid of living in  the states afraid of wanting to stay with me forever (so he says) afraid of the dynamics with my kids, so he was happy it wasnt getting approved....I told him it would go quick and now we went from approved oct 10 to embassy today and now its like, so what are you gonna do.....hes like I need time....I'm like what has the time since Feb been for then....it just feels like excuses and my GAF is all run out. I worked to hard to get this to the embassy before years end and know we have a chance to be together before the holidays and I get nothing but excuses and grief. I am just completely numb and dead inside. I cannot give time and loyalty to someone who plays with my heart and mind. He will lose me very soon.

Congrats!

Thank you! I returned from Algeria this week and have been trying to play catch up with work and life. R picked up his passport and visa today. He will be entering the US on November 15th.

I do not know what I would have done without you guys....you have been my sanity for the last 10 months. And I am truly grateful

Wow, We all got evicted off our lists today

February, March, April that I know of.

Still rooting for y'all :D

I didn't make it, still waiting for her (legal stamped) divorced papers to be sent to me.  I initially sent a copy and had to get a stamped one by making an appointment to request one, then took several weeks for them to receive the request for them to do it, and just barely received it.  Now its being sent to me, but Monday is the deadline and takes 4 days to get here to me.  So I will have to pay again and start this whole process over from the beginning.  :( I am happy for everyone else, maybe next year for me....

Wow, I agree, I'm so sorry.  I know how hard you were trying with the rest of us.  But at least you know now before the kids got evolved and got to know him.

I would certainly call USCIS and discuss with them that the documents will only be a few days late and plead for an extension. If they don’t then they are just plain a’holes.  I would t give up just yet.

Hi everyone, I'm back.  Stayed off for a while, we had to gather last minute papers for RFE (waited till end to tell me they wanted more info).  Now I'm waiting for Philippine snell mail to get the papers so I can send it.  What I expected to be 6-8 months, looks like I might be more than one year before we are finally together again.  I just keep praying and hoping.  I hope everyone else is moving along now, I know before I left, there was a small handful with me waiting.

I am still here. Good to see you again.

Sorry it took them so long to send you  the RFE...

I agree with @GInAustin call NVC and USCIS. When I had difficulty scheduling the interview I thought it would go past the expiration date but everyone on vj told me that the date could be extended. Call NVC and USCIS  (I'm not sure who sets the date).

They demanded something...they should extend the time frame.

Sweetheart I didn't want to push you to write here propelled by your emotions, so you wouldn't have to "take it back". I hope you are calm now, and that all is ok. Please update us, you have our undoubted support.

I think he just want thinking that wed go from approval...(officially by mail on oct 15th) to the embassy on the 1st of nov... Its like he was caught off guard...and was thrown into a pit of fear....we had a long talk...then he spoke with with brother..who told him hes overthinking things and overwhelming himself. So I'm hoping he'll get started on the embassy requirements on his own...he already has all the proof and affidavit...so its just up to him...I'm just pulling back a bit so ge can feel the disconnection and really thinkn about what he can lose....its time to fish or cut bait....I have so much angsty energy and this hesitation is the last thing I want to hear after all my hard work to get him here before years end.

Good. I hope it works out for the best.

How long did it take you to get everything from NOA2 to NVC to embassy? Seems you did it pretty quick if you can have him with you by the year's end. What are their requirements?

Tried calling them this morning and request just one more week, they said no extension allowed.
