Am I making enough?

Hi everyone. I've done research about this but I just wanna make sure with you guys. I'm US citizen and I want to petition my Filipino fiance. We've been together for 2 years. I used to live in the Philippines with him, but then I moved here to California in May 2017.I got a job a week after coming here. I work at a bakery full time. I make 1760 dollars a month so that would be 21000+ a year. But my problem is I want to start petitioning him next month when I've save enough for all the expenses.(I have very little expenses since my rent is only 250 haha.) Is it okay that I haven't been working for a year yet? I know I have to show my income tax returns, so it's not going to be for a year yet. I'm actually up to be manager at the bakery in January so my income will go up a little bit, but am I even making enough? Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! 😊

It is not so much as if you are making enough. Rather, do you make enough for your household size i.e. sufficient income to cover youself + foreign fiance/e + other dependents (if any). To check the corresponding required minimum annual income for your household size, refer to the link provided by the member above.

On the I-134, you only need to meet 100%. However, best to just refer to the 125% because the I-864 used for AOS will require that amount instead. If you do not meet the poverty guideline, you can find a co-sponsor :)

If you file now, you won't get your NOA2 for at least 4 months given the current processing times. By then you'd have been promoted and be making a higher expected annual income, which might be more than enough for the I-134 and I-864. Otherwise, you do have about 4 months to search for someone to be your co-sponsor in the event that you do need one.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

So we don't have any dependents. It's just gonna be me and him.  Also Manila(Philippines) doesn't allow Co sponsors for fiance visa. This is a bit confusing. We're both 25 and I've never done anything this important to me before. Any advice is amazing. Thank you guys!
