anyone have a clue on what happens after EAD/AP? I got married Dec 7 and filed for AOS on Dec 19. I filed for AP in January and got the biometrics appointment done in February and my AP received in early March - I just got my EAD card last week - but there has been no update on the I-485 and since they changed the estimated wait times on the egov website - it's unclear. My service center is National Benefits Center which does not even show up as an option for the I-485 on the site. All I see is a bunch of local offices and like one or two other service centers. Anyone else have NBC as their center and does anyone know what happen from here? And does anyone have a timeline if they are further along in the process? Any information will be a glimpse of hope to this super long process.

The EAD/AP are processed at the NBC, but the AOS is going through your local field office, not NBC.
Look up the processing times for your field office. It's the one, where you've had your biometrics at.

Hi everyone,

Hope you all are doing well and moving right along in all of this.  I'm wondering if there is a place to check online if you have an interview date scheduled or what your current status is in the AOS process? I'm starting to question whether I've missed something in the mail...

In completely other kind of news... we are expecting our first child (a boy:o) on September 30th!!

You can make an account here to check https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ that is the new site or the old site which is still working. Both are updating for me but some find one updates and not the other. lol Gotta love the government. This is the old site: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

Congrats on the Baby Boy coming! That is awesome news. :)

So I have a third interview with the company my husband works for next Wednesday. :) Hopefully I get something out of this. It is a call centre job but it pays 15.50 an hour to start with benefits so I am not gonna complain. I know I can do it. They told me what manager would be interviewing me and my husband said oh I know him, great guy. HAHA *crosses fingers* Sure hope this works out.

So turns out call center people really have no idea what they're talking about! lol

I got my EAD/AP less than a month after I mailed my response for RFE. They told me it was supposed to set my entire timeline to day 1. Clearly it didn't!

Of course, Im not complaining haha but like really, why can't they get their stories straight for once?

Hello Everyone, quick update on my status. We applied for 485, ead and ap on January 19, 2018. And had biometrics done March 22, 2018. We received an RFE in the mail June 11, 2018. All they want is the birth certificate translated in English! Phewwww I’m glad it’s only that! And i hope it doesn’t take much time to receive our ead and ap now. PS i hope everyone is doing well. Positive vibes to you all!

Received an email regarding my case today Case status: testing and interview, yet I haven't received any word on my EAD since December. Hopefully it will come soon! Anyone experienced this?

Not really sure was it one of their general updates. Those they like to send but can be turned off in settings. Its like letting you know they are still on the case. lol

Well I had an hour and a half long third interview with the same company today. I think it went well and I got a tour of the facility. The guy did ask if I would be willing to work in the sales department. I replied saying absolutely that I enjoy learning new things. He said I would hear within the next 10 days either way. *crosses fingers* If I get it it is 8-10 weeks of paid training before 3 months working with a mentor at your side.

Hiya Kateryna! Everything here is good and well interesting. We had a kerfuffle with my husband's ex but we have now cut all ties to her and he told the kids if they wanted to talk they knew were to find him. His ex is a manipulative person who airs all her personal problems on facebook. Sigh she had completely slandered my husband on a post saying he was the reason she was so poor and that her and her new husband and the kids were scarred because of him. Ton of stuff and well she was called on it by people that know them both so she took the post down thank goodness. For one in the divorce she wanted no child support, no alimony because she just got a huge inheritance from her Mum passing. 3 years later almost a 750k gone and its my husband's fault. She divorced him so he couldn't get his money on her Mum's money. Anyway my husband was feeling super good about it all this morning so that is good.

Him and I did fun stuff today. He surprised me by taking me to the zoo and buying me a membership there. We have the best giraffe program at the zoo here and he knows giraffes are my favourite animal. I got to feed them and pet them and yes my bucket list is finished. LOL

I hopefully will hear about the job this week. I have my fingers crossed. I really do need something. I am going CRAZY in the house. Even though I volunteer twice a week now at the library. lol

How are things with you?
