As for us: we sent our AOS package on January 26th and our NOA 1 date is February 6th. Also this weekend got a mail with biometrics date set on March 6th.

So happy! No web-site/application or e-notification update though.

And in the meantime we are preparing for the wedding in fall, late October to be more precise. A lot of stuff to do and not so easy but we keep moving to make our dreams and plans come true. Sometimes I feel sad and miss my Ukraine but I guess it's just a matter of time staying home alone doing nothing in particular and absence of super tough work schedule I had in Kiev for the last 7 years. :)

Glad to hear everything is going along well! I hope all your wedding plans come together to make a very beautiful and memorable day for you and your husband! I still reserve the right to be a whiner though. 😜

Yes, this went a lot faster than I anticipated. Our personalities and senses of humor are just so perfectly compatible. It feels like being with one of my life long friends. I had to watch my words with my ex, but not anymore. 😂 There's a wonderful sense of freedom in it.

As for the process, they cashed my check yesterday and I'm waiting on NOA1 again.

Oh wow! That was really fast! Second K1 in less than a year! Few! :) You must have a strong and big heart for being ready for that again so quickly!
I hope you will find happiness now and go through the process without scrutiny! Good luck!

OOOOOOLYA!!! What news!! Wow! Congratulations! That is indeed a good reason for not waiting for EAD haha! Best of luck for you that everything goes smooth and you have a terrific pregnancy and an even more terrific time after! And now go for them donuts! :D :D :D

Hey girl! So happy to see good old fellow Marchies posts here!

Don't think we are whiners after moving to our beloved :)

Good to hear everything is good with you! Keep on going!

Heeeeey! Good to read from another known face! :)
I'm happy everything is going good for you!
I totally get it regarding doing nothing. I have been on my job working through the last 10 years with not a single sick day - minus a surgery -, went to at least 2 concerts a month and went down to zero. Have to get used to having the daily walk to the mailbox being the highlight, hahahaha :)

Nah, no whiners anymore, you are right. But we've been a fabulous group of March Whiners, so it doesn't have a bad taste! :)

Hello dear March whiners!

Long time no see! But I'm happy it's all for the good reasons, I hope everyone is doing well and life is so much better next to your sweethearts :)

Has anyone had any developments with AOS (or more like EAD?) The 87 page thread is overwhelming, so I hope y'all forgive me for asking without reading LOL

Cheers! Congrats everyone on all the weddings and even babies! :)

And one more! :)
Glad to read from you as well! I hope things are going good for you too!

Regarding AOS: Nothing, haha! Waiting game, but I'm not really waiting. It will happen sooner or later (rather later, what else!)

@pajobra: Great, congrats on your volunteer job! At least something to do! :) :)

I agree Americans like sweet things that is for sure. lol I was told that that is why Americans have 12 different kinds of girl scout cookies and Canadians only have three is because Americans like their stuff sweeter. Probably true. lol

Thanks! To be perfectly honest a lot of my last relationship falling apart was my own fault. It had been a while since I was in a fulfilling relationship and brushed off some warning signs that ended up coming to bite me thinking that everything would be okay. I broke a lot of my own personal rules and paid for it. This time around, I had a lot more confidence and my spidey senses turned up to 11. My fiancee and I have had some minor situations which allowed me to see how she acts under anger, stress, and disappointment, and not just under the most ideal circumstances. It really helps you grow closer, know, love and understand someone when you can share some hardships together.

As for filing quirks, if you do file a second petition within two years of having another approved petition, you have to ask for a multiple filer waiver and give an explanation of the circumstances. There's technical details I'm not exactly 100% clear on, like if you had your petition formally withdrawn before a K1 visa is given if it still counts as approved or not since the process was never actually completed and the beneficiary received nothing. My thinking is they just want to keep people from bringing in multiple people on a K1 as some type of scam.

I only need two: Thin Mints and Samoas :D Funny story though: It was a family tradition to make home made ice cream on the weekends in one of those old fashioned hand crank machines and my parents always kept a big bag of coarse salt in the garage to put over the ice. I thought I was really sneaky going out into the garage to steal a few pieces to suck on when I was a kid.

Ewwww you sucked on the salt. lol Apparently our Thin Mints in Canada are more mintier than yours. I have yet to try the American ones to see if it is true. lol My husband bought me some Savannah Smiles because he knows I am crazy about lemon and omg soooo good. I tried the new smores too and they are decent. Eventually I will try them all just because I can. hahaha

I haven't tried the lemon one, but now I have to because I love all things citrus! Sour > Sweet for me! If you want some of the best lemonade, check if a nearby mall has a fast food franchise called Hot Dog On a Stick. It's the absolute perfect balance of sweet and sour.

That's just funny, whatever I bake is not sweet enough for Eric, and whatever he buys is too sugary for me - and he claims that he is indifferent to sweets:D Never tried girl scout cookies, by the way.

@Diego&Dianna: Congratulations! You look beautiful! All the best for your future! :)

@pajobra: Haha, good to know someone saw I'm gone! :) Nah, it was really busy here. We flew around, then we moved, time flies! How's life treating you in CO?

@Eric&Olya: Oh, I feel you! I'm not in a hurry to get to work, because after all the stress in the last 9 months I finally get to just stay home. BUT... staying home is not healthy. So I'll look into taking the GED for now.

@gob332: When did you file AOS? I did middle of December, but I just looked on my timeline for fun and saw my estimate got kicked back to the end of March. Before it was beginning/middle. Seems February has a curse on, since last year in Feb all the delays in the K1 started. So many of us got soooo lucky to slip through with such a short processing time.
I feel so bad for people, seeing they wait 220+ days for NOA2 now, while my ENTIRE process took 139 days.

We filed end of Feb after Thanksgiving. Had biometrics on 12-29. Some others who filed right around us have received their AP/EAD so hoping it is not too much longer!

Yay glad you guys got that done and have joined the waiting game again with most of us. lol

Waiting, waiting so patiently waiting.  If my husband feels up to it we are going to head to Denver tomorrow afternoon to watch the Rocky Mountain Rollergirls Derby League have their home openers. I am soooo excited. I used to play roller derby in Canada and I miss it terribly. Looking forward to going to it very much.  Hopefully we can. I might go by myself if he can't but it would be more fun with him. He has never seen roller derby live. Oh the rush the adrenaline you get just from watching and the excitement from the players and crowd is amazing.

Today my husband has laser treatment for his diabetic retinopathy fun fun. So in a couple hours we will head out for that. Thank god he has decent insurance cause with him not going full hours to work right now and me not working its getting harder. Seeing the derby is a treat and doesn't cost too much. I told him we did not have to go to save the money but he says no you want to go and we need to do something fun. lo

Ok.. We sent the AOS packet last Wednesday. That was 21st February 2018. Based on USPS tracking, it was delivered on the 24th. So far, we have not heard anything from USCIS. Not even an E-Notifcation of Application/Petition Acceptance (G-1145). What's the usual timeframe for this?

Also, when I sent the AOS packet, I have not received my Social Security Card. I received that yesterday. Should I update USCIS with the info? If so, how could I do that?

Hehe, I wouldn't call others boring people. I'm boring myself! And I love it!
But yeah... I can't let it get close to me. Just right now someone I know has release party for his solo record, where I absolutely would be and lots of my friends are. I also avoid watching concert videos, to not get homesick. Because I do miss my busy lifestyle, although I'm happy here. If that makes any sense! :)

(Edit: See... got a Livevideo sent right while I was typing that haha )

Ugh then good luck for it being there soon! I just looked, my AP timeline is now in middle April and EAD still in end of March. I'm very glad I'm not so much in a hurry to get it, but I'd like this limbo with no status being over.

Mine took about 10 days and 3 days from the e-notification to the letter in mail. No worries. :)

It's good you see things clear about that past. It's important to progress and move on. Same for me; my relationship before was horrible and it took me an eternity to finally admit myself that it will NOT be ok.
After that it took me almost 2 years to even allow my now husband to meet me in person. He just picked on me for that the other day, hehe! :)

Wow, I didn't know that! Hopefully that goes through! To be honest, I wouldn't know if I would not have gone for a CR1 in these days, since K1 takes almost the same time, even more if you add AOS time.

Yeah of course they want to keep people from doing this, and I totally understand the intention. Enough out there and enough idiots who jump from woman to woman to woman... I'm glad it's not that easy.
Just read of someone who had the third petition going on,... from the same African country, and so on and so on...

So, keep your chin up and march on. Luckily you're not one of these creeps, so you'll get through well! :)
May it take time!
