He’s here!!!! My fiancé arrived on Friday night! He’s settling in well and we both still feel like we’re living the most incredible dream of our lives!! So beyond worth the wait to be together. We’re getting married in 19 days and I’ll definitely post a pic of our wedding afterwards!

Anyone have problems getting an id card in new married name?

We've tried to do that but due to the law of Pennsylvania until I will be able to show them my EAD card I won't be able to receive either ID or driving license.

Ya actually I was able to get one in Illinois but it expires on my i94 expiry date which is feb 17 so I can't drive after that date but others have had better experiences in my same state. Apparently the law is that you need an expiry date to put on the ID to show that someone is legally allowed to be in the USA but without an ead at least or a green card we don't have an expiry date.  If you go to a different DMV you may get lucky on expiry but if your i94 is expired already it may be hard.

Its frustrating....tried to add her to my bank account, and could not without a State ID.

Biometrics done! Super quick, just 10 minutes and really nice people down there. The guy taking my biometrics thought it was so funny that we both had the same birthday. lol

Your current legal name is the name you are going by so if you took your husbands name then yes that is it. Then under other names you have gone by put your maiden name. :)

Sorry I haven't been around much. Life is very emotional right now. My husband has been very sick lately and we are working on getting him to a healthy state through diet and meditation. So far maybe its working. However as for work he makes it 2-3 times a week and its getting stressful money wise. I really wish I could work but oh well waiting it is. I don't expect that until April. :( I just hope that work does not fire him. He said they can't due to some law but honestly I don't believe it. So I am very stressed lately worried about my husband, money, and life in general. I have been staying strong for my husband. He has no idea that inside I am breaking down well until yesterday when I refused to get out of bed. I couldn't do it. I just wanted to cry and stay in bed all day which I nearly did til I forced myself to get dressed and go get groceries. My husband was home sick yesterday for the second day this week. Thankfully he went in today. He messaged me saying he got a 10 hour shift Saturday. I told him that is great but my insides are saying yeah like he will end up being able to go in. :( I love him very much and I worry so much about him.

I am so sorry to hear this and hope and pray everything gets better! I know how awful it can be to feel completely helpless in a bad situation...
