Hey March filers,

am not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask this question, but maybe one of you can help us out.

We received our NVC case number yesterday and are now waiting for it to be sent to the consulate in Amsterdam. I was wondering whether my fiance and I can already start applying for the visa and completing the "6 steps" from the NVC and even scheduling the consular interview, or if we need to wait for instructions from the consulate?

Thanks a lot and good luck to everyone on this forum!

Yup, we sent I-485, I-131 & I-765 in separately marked folders but all 3 together in one box. On the cover pages of the 765 and the 131 we also noted in the subject line specifically that they were concurrently filled:

Re: I-131, Application for Travel Document – ORIGINAL SUBMISSION

(Concurrent Filling with I-485, I-765)

This was optional of course, just to point out to them in writing that it was all filed together. I had read about people getting a notice that they didn't send the required funds for the other forms so I wanted to be sure they saw the words "Concurrent Filling'.

you can start filing the DS160 form on the embassy website and follow the Embassy specific instructions.;)

about scheduling, in my case they scheduled my interview , i just email them and postponed as the date was not convenient.

Yes I did 3 cover pages total. One that covered the i485/i864. Another for I-131 and another for I-765. So it was one for each folder.

Super fast! I even had a RFIE. Still don't have my EAD/AP card yet though, haha..

Oh wow, October? At least you'll have plenty of bonafide relationship evidence by then ;)
