Had my biometrics testing today.

My appointment was 10am and we got there for 920am. I went in anyways and was out within 15 minutes max.

They took my finger prints and photo and that was that.

Woohoo. I am still waiting for my biometrics letter.

I have just recovered from the flu was hell for like 2 days. :( Ugh if you get the flu this year stay home and rest and have fluids. I got lucky and got a mild form of it compared to some.

Hey guys do we have to do the AOS within 90 days of entry to the US or is that 90 days just in reference to getting married? Is there a certain time frame in which we should file the adjustment of status? Thanks all.

We submitted 1 yr of taxes if it's over 125%

Not much evidence at the interview-only what they asked for on their checklist (and they didn't even Take everything on the list)

Honestly you should check with someone who took an Interview  in Philippians as ever country differs.

Thanks

Haha awesome ! And fast right! I am hoping the interview letter follows through fast aswell hehe. Or even better maybe no interview and just a green card that would be something !

And yes apparently the flu is hitting majority of the USA. Crazy you caught it! Did you have the flu shot when you got your vaccines ? I wonder if it was a different strain. So brutal...

Good question

Here it says you have 90 days

http://www.visajourney.com/content/compare

But there are many people that just do it before the 1 year Mark so that their medical doesn't expire.

So I'm not 100% sure as alot of us rush to aos so that we can get our ead going but to be honest it makes zero sense to have to file within 90 days if you got married on the 90th day. How could you possibly file the same day and have a marriage certificate In hand? So I'm with the people who state to do it before your medical expires..But don't quote me on that.

Some more info :

When to file aos @Diego&Dianna

6.1)...How soon after we get married should we apply for Adjustment of Status?
A..Right away, or at least right after your honeymoon. You should make every effort to get the Adjustment application filed within 90 days of the fiance(e) entering the United States as indicated on the I-94.

Filing for Adjustment of Status within the 90 days protects your legal status. Your legal status expires after 90 days, married or not. The only way to protect your legal status is to apply for Adjustment of Status, and the only way to maintain continuous legal status is to file for AOS within 90 days or arriving. On the practical side, it is often difficult to arrange for the marriage, and get all the paperwork ready in time to file for AOS within 90 days. Many couples have filed for AOS a few days or weeks after the 90 day limit with no problems. Thus far, many experiences have shown this is not a major issue with local USCIS (INS) offices

AOS packet is officially done and sent out as of this morning! Worried about every little detail of it so it feels good to finally be rid of it. Now the waiting begins once again. lol

Nope because when I went for the medical the flu shot hadn't been created yet for this season.

When I say I am from a small village in Canada this is where I mean. This was taken last winter when I still lived there.
