hi guys,

had my biometrics appointment on the 5th of December, everything went well.

today got an RFE in the mailbox asking for the birth certificate english translation- I sent it already with the entire AOS folder . So , I am wondering now what should i send them back :

1. the notary certified translation of my Romanian birth certificate , Romanian to english translation , translated in Romania by a certified translator, has all the notary and translator stamps. this is the same i initially sent , did they loose it?

or

2. should i translate again my birth certificate here, in US, maybe they want it translated by a translator here?

That shouldn't matter and honestly I wouldn't put it past them to lose it. I mean at the I-129F level people got RFE's for passport pictures that they knew they had put in the package.

The translation you got already should be fine. I would resubmit it personally because that is what they are asking for.

I think it depends on the country. In Canada mine was sent the day after my interview and I got it 3 business days later.

Hello Marchies!

Those who started AOS or working on it - what did you do about vaccination information? My kids and me did get the vaccination form from our medical in Ukraine, and the kids' ones are ticked off as "complete" but mine just says "K1". According to the VJ guide, a USCIS approved doctor should transfer this info into Form I-693. I started calling the local doctors, and I am shocked that they want $200 - 300 per person for that:angry: That sounds so unreasonable...

My reading was if you had a K1 medical and your vaccinations were complete, that you just send in the DS-3025 form in place of the I-693.

Presumably they can access the I-693 from the K1 and see you were complete -- if you weren't, I doubt they'd have let you in.

So that's what we're doing -- but we haven't even sent anything in so who knows if it turns into a RFE. It's pretty clear in the instructions of

the I-485, which refers to the instructions of the I-693, that you shouldn't have to do it over again if you file within one year of the K1 medicals.

The DS-3025 form is the one I am looking for. :o I think I might have left it at my Mum's. :o I am gonna keep hunting for it but not sure what to do if I do not find it. Perhaps Cry? lol

I have the I-485 filled out and printed, the I-765 filled out and printed and the I-131 filled out and printed. Whew, now to gather the stuff to put with it. My husband is gonna fill out the I-864 later and we already have everything we need for it. YAY! I am so thrilled he got his bonus from work. He was so stressed because he usually gets it before now that he was afraid he wasn't and was worried I would have to go back to Canada. Frankly I was kinda worried too.

This is what we did, too when we submitted AOS

Hi guys! On the CEAC tracker website, it says "Issued". Would it say "ready" or something when it's ready to pickup or just "issued" simply means the visa is ready for pickup now?
