We got married !!! Friday December 1st downtown chicago at the city hall just after 215pm ish!  

The judge was amazing ! Everything went so smooth. We dressed up in wedding dress and suit got the bouquet and all! Drove around downtown taking photos all over Chicago than had a later dinner just Stephen and I on the 95th floor (at the signature room) with a window view overlooking Chicago. He surprised me with a mini wedding cake and flowers (hes not a flower guy) so it was very special to me. As fast as the day went by it was all we really needed and turned out great! The most fun was running around downtown ..everyone was congratulating us all over the place ..We could really feel the love!

I got my SSN card !!! Applied November 29 got it today 3 business days ! I never realized they are paper so I got worried when i realized the envelope and it was flimsy LOL in this process you never know !

So we have a great news as well - applied for SSN on Monday morning.

We came fully prepared - preliminary filled in form, I-94 and passport. Took about 20 minutes. 

And today we've got our marriage license.  Planning to have a court house ceremony till the end of this year.

Question: my fiance went for his medical report and was given a sealed envelope to take to the interview. The Dr. Smile and said good luck. If he didnt pass nedical  would the Dr informed him?

I'm sure everything is ok.  I always worry when I tell someone good luck, as if I know something they don't and they will need the luck LOL  Not the case, it is just an expression of speech.  Usually on the medicals, they have some kind of obligation to inform the patient if there is something that is wrong so that it can be corrected (like the TB's we have seen pop up here and there).

 

Good Luck on the interview - er  ummmmmm  Well - You know what I mean       I can't wait to see you get that Visa In Hand and that Fiance In Hand soon after

My fiancee Completed her Medical and Vaccinations Dec 1, FINALLY after the 2 month sputum testing was completed..

Her interview is Tomorrow AM...Wish us luck..:)

I wish you luck!. Such a relief after waiting of sputum test!. I've also completed the sputum test (3 months in Indonesia hospital) and got interview schedule later on December 20th.

Very sad day for me and my fiance. So this was given to him at ghana embassy after his interview. 

Questions:

1. Does ur fiance mother knows about the relationship?

2. What are her sisters and brothers names?

3.Where and what does do for a living?

4. When was the last time he was him.

 

The officer left, came back and give him the white form and return some of the documents. He got my fiance telephone number and took his figueer prints.

My Fiancee Had her interview Yesterday at the Manila Embassy and she was approved!! Now waiting to take the CFO class and get her passport back and  I will book the flight to the USA! Yay !!!

How long did it take to schedule a interview in Jakarta? I'm a June Flier and trying to get a idea of when to expect Visa interview.
