Soooooooo busy anymore, no time to play on VJ :D

We got our SSN in the mail on Thursday.  Noyce!

Family flew in on Friday.  I worked a shift on Friday also, so after work, and some laundry, then to bed for 3 hrs just to get up early to run to the beach and decorate and hang electronics in palm trees for video to be seen by our family in the PH, rush home to get the bride, then back to the beach just as the eastern sky over the beach was showing first light.  Morning sunrise wedding was really a lot of fun!  The wind was so strong, destroyed my hair but Ann stayed gorgeous!  Beach goers stopping to take pictures and wish us well during the ceremony...... taking pictures and giving thumbs up LOL   It was so formally informal at the same time.  Ceremony was about an hour long as we wrote our own vows that took extra time, but the fact of the matter is on 11/11 at 0723EST, we said 'I DO!'

This is the finish line in the truest sense.

Your absence is excused since you shared such beautiful and happy photos of your special moment. It's the dawn of a beautiful new life together after a lengthy and arduous bureaucratic hurdle. Congratulations! I wish you, Ann and your whole new family many happy, healthy and successful years together.

Yay to hear of the upcoming POEs and interviews etc. :)

Well I am gonna travel down to the SSA office. The bus sorta gets close to it, a 15 minute walk close. Wish me luck on getting my SSN. Seems to be hit or miss on whether you can or not which seems strange as its a national service not a state service. *rolls eyes*

My fiance's coworkers are jealous because everyday this week he has had home-cooked leftovers for his lunch. On Monday and Tuesday I sent him with BBQ ribs, potatoes and zucchini. Wednesday I sent him with a pork chop, applesauce and salt potatoes and today I sent him with roast beef, potatoes and zucchini. One said tell your fiance she needs to start sending us food too. LOL

Hey lady!

Question for you

Did you have to bring a proof of address to get your ssn?

Also how was your port of entry?

Im flying now instead of driving (sold the car couldnt import 🙈) flying next monday 8 days away!

Any added info would be great! I havnt had a chance to read all these forums lately been crazy busy between work and packing etc.

Nope all I had was my passport and my I-94 and the lady said long as I knew my address that was good enough for her. :D I did have a bank statement just in case.

Well my sister drove me down so it was almost 2 hours at the border but only because they all ran away and said you can deal with this one to one guy who happened to be the new guy and he kept having to call homeland security for help. LMAO It went smooth though and they did not even look at my manifest or at the car full of stuff. He came out to open the door to let our car through and looked in the backseat where my cat and a bunch of stuff was and said is this all you brought. I said no the trunk is full but don't open it. I said I had to play tetris to get it all in. He laughed so hard and said have a great marriage hope it all goes well. We thanked him and were on our way.

Flying seems to be easiest since they seem to know what to do there. Most have gone through pretty speedily so I hope its the same for you. :D Yay your POE is coming up so fast!! I am so happy for you.

I am going to the DMV on Thursday with my fiance to see if I can get a Colorado license. LOL We are also getting our marriage license that day. My fiance is off due to a medical appointment. Just a general appointment to see how his diabetes is doing as well as his IBS. I want to talk to the doctor about it because I do all the cooking and he is great until we go out for dinner and can't control some things that affect him. :( So no more eating out. I am gonna talk to the doctor more extensively about the Low FODMAP diet. My sister is on it for her IBS and she says without it she would be horrible. His doctor gave him the go ahead already but I would like to bend her ear a bit.

We went today to pick up our wedding rings. Mine fit fabulous but my fiance's was small which was funny because they did use the sizer anyway they are reordering his and we will pick them up next week. We are hoping to get married either Dec 2nd or Dec 9th depending on which judicial person can do it those days only like 9 in our area do weekends. I also finally picked up some pretty black flats that are sooooo comfy to wear at the wedding since I am just wearing my navy blue paisley dress. I went practical so that if I do get an office job I can wear them there too.

Yes ! Rings always fit so diff ..i guess depending how thick the band is.. at least most can be resized! We still need to get our bands but ill wait till im there. Thats the easy stuff right (after this whole process) 😂

Diets are hard..usually process of elimination *sugar/wheat/dairy/redmeat/spices..

everyone is so different ..good luck!

Nice! I am going to get a dress once im  chicago. Ill have a couple weeks.

Thanks for the info on the ssn i remember someone else told me this but i slipped my mind if i needed an address. Maybe i was thinking for an id.. too much going on at once hah!

I will have to remember not to use my nexus card when i fly 🙈usually i just skip customs with it!!! But i realized now ill have to make sure to go to them in order to use my visa..because im assuming that is who i give the documents to..

We got our marriage license today! Everything was fast and smooth, took maybe 15 minutes. If Eric had a clearer handwriting and I didn't have a Cyrillic letter in my divorce decree number, it would've been about 10:D

Yay glad you guys got it. Chris and I go on Thursday to get ours. HAHAHA about Eric having clearer handwriting. My Chris has horrible handwriting and I mean HORRIBLE. I am sure he was a doctor in an old life. lol

Good luck with yours! One step closer, all we have to do is buy the rings.

Awawawwwwwwwaaaaaa!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I'm so happy for you both! May you be blessed with luck, health, LOVE and HAPPINESS for the rest of your life!
Wonderful pics, and tell Ann kudos for her taste in the dress. It's wonderful, mine was that style too, just less fluffy (tall girl would have looked like a marshmallow haha)! Wonderful! I love it! :):)

Now relax, AOS will come soon enough! :))

Haha, you had strangers too! We had so many people in Vegas yelling congratulations, even hugging lol
And some asian tourists asking us for pictures here and there hahahah

Ahhhhh I'm so happy for you!!!

@Eric&Olya: Your turn now! :D

Congrats with completing everything! And yes! Taking all my coins. Do I have to pay a separate fee for his daughter? And also did you have to pay a fee for Affidavit of support?
