Hello everyone!

It's been a rough week for me. Especially with school, and I have tons more I have to finish after writing this post but I had to make some time for my VJ buddies. I've missed you all so much, and just because WE GOT APPROVED FOR THE VISA YESTERDAY IN SYDNEY!!!!! (YES!!! WOOHOO) that doesn't mean I'm not going to frequent the boards and stop by to chat with all of you. I know AOS is another direction of problems headed our way and lots of patience. However, the best part of this entire process has already happened! He had his interview at 8:45am and I asked him if he would write his experience so I can share it with others, but to make it simple he was there from about 8:30 - 1pm but the interview itself was conducted under 10 minutes. So, a 10 minute interview roughly.

Edited just now by amishbaby

Congrats!!! Wooohoo so happy for you both. :)

Thanks, i am going to ask some of those May filers if they are still experiencing the same -get approval in mail but case tracker just showing case received.....there is a couple of 100 just show "Case Received" 3/13/17

As far as I know the Case tracker started working again early September after not working from May-end of August. Occasionally it would work like a day here or there but no rhyme or reason as to why. But from all calculations it appears to be working just fine now.

That is so promising to know....guess it will be informed mail i may know first.

There are still so many March Filers still holding their bag waiting for NOA2....  Some I know of are @PRC Rabbit, @AJay00md, @Bananah, @Lsthorpe1, @PB&FM, @FutureMrsBennett, probably more but I'm just not thinking of them right now.....

Something has to break, we haven't had a March approval in how long?  Probably @LabOz knows when the last one was, but it is so overdue.....

@Kateryna_I is like that, also.  There is some kind of a process the NVC does and maybe it is a name verification / similar name kind of thing?????    Wow, this sucks

We all used to talk to much, now the Aprilites are beating us by leaps and bounds:)

So, let's try to catch up :)

Beneficiaries, what is the most useless thing that you absolutely must take to the States?

For me that would be old Christmas cards from my friends that I've been collecting for years.

Petitioners, what is the most useless (in your opinion) object you've bought/are going to buy for your beneficiary?

Eric will have to buy a hair drier for me before I come, and you can see from our profile pic why he would never find it useful:)

I will be buying an espresso machine... pretty useless for me since I don't drink coffee!!!  lol

Anyway as I was saying in the previous thread. lol @Marzena & Stephen let me know how the medical goes tomorrow as I will be in Montreal Tuesday for mine next week. :D

Medical went good!

Took just over 2 hours

Filled in two forms when i got there

Did an xray from the back and side-had to do it twice and when i breathed in and out my shoulders moved up which blocks some things they want to see.

No biggie

They tell you not to go to the washroom because you have to do a urine test but it took forever so i went and than drank lots of water after.. thing is you cant go for an hour otherwise the urine wont work. So i waited one hour after the last pee break to pee in the cup. Thankfully i didnt see a nurse first.

After your xray you get your top back on and sit in the waiting area again.

Get called in the docs office.

The doctor who sees you is the sweetest man ever!

He asks you a bunch of sumiliar questions to the 1st 2 forms you filled out.

He makes you undress into a gown and he checks the movement if your legs arms etc he looks at your ears eyes mouth and throat. He didnt look "down there" he only pressed on the sides of just below your tummy...that sort of thing.

Back to the waiting room...

The nurse calls you.

If you have all your vaccinations you just get your height and eyes checked and a tube of blood.

Back to the waiting room and about 25 min later or so you get called up to pay get a receipt and off you go. Pickup your results 3 days later but call first to make sure they are ready.. ...just writing with my phone quickly sorry for typos/grammar
