7:30 am

You line up to the left of the door on the side of the building!

I got there around 630 because i wanted to be first. My sister got us starbucks and we waited.

Someone came for their appointment after me (they were 745) ans around 7 to 715 tons of people started to come line up and crowd the doors.

The uscis security said line up to the left side so make sure youre first in line on that side. They do go in line order but they did specifically ask who wqs 730 vs 745 and let them in first. So we still got to go in first based on our time but if we were 745 even if we were 1st in line it wouldnt matter they will take the 730s which is good! (I kept hearing otherwise on visa journey)

I got #1

Handed a lady my appointment letter (or ds160 is good) with passport she gave me a checklist

Left my fitbit and cell phone at the front

Got a little yellow ticket scanned my coat and paper documents

Went downstairs sat down organized my papers based on the checklist  about 15 min(everything is the same as the montreal packet 4 checklist except that last 2 things on the list were not on their -usa docimile ...) which were also not requested at the window.

The security were really nice

The security guy said okay everyone its time to go upatairs

We all took an elevator up

There were chairs and windows

Almost immediately they called my number 1 to come to window 1

I couldnt see it lol funny but than found it

The lady took all my documents and finger prints and asked if i have ever been married or had any kids. She took my finger prints each hand than thumbs.

Also asked if my fiance is here ..i said no he will be here on friday to visit.

So i sat down. I got a little nervous as she asked if my fiance is here.

Next #2 about 15 min or so later got called before me to the interview window! I got scared and wondered why i didnt get called to the interview window first but a few min later i got called ans funny enough i was out of there before #2 so i guess it doesnt matter the order.

At the window a lady asked all the similiar questions i kept reading on here

Speak loud as they cant hear u!

You press your finger prints down again to swear on oath.

When did you meet

Is this your first marriage

How did you decide on being in a relationship

Who visits who more

When did you meet

Have you met each others family

What does he do for work

Does he work for himself or someone

What are your wedding plans

Did you have a formal engagement when

Were you the only two there

Etc

The lady took my finger prints

She asked if i signed up for courier

She said it takes 2 weeks to get everything back and handed me a pink paper that says welcome to the usa ans a whotr paper about the courier

I asked if i was approved she said yes

I said so im done i can leave now?

She said i can stay if i want LOL!

Yayyy

Told everyone else goodluck

Took the elevator back down

Walked downstairs on my own

Gave my yellow slip to get my things and that was that. Ill write more details in my profile later !!

Awesome thanks for the walk through. I really like reading these as it makes me feel better after I read them and less nervous. Man they don’t like fitbits either. Maybe I will leave mine off. Lol

Hey Guys!

Question...

We got approved on September 13th and called NVC two days ago to see if our case number was there! Much to our surprise it was 😊😊😊

So yesterday I went ahead and booked my medical test for the 19th of October!

I recieved an email from the medical centre with a list of things to bring with me! It listed that I needed a letter from the NVC confirming my case number.

i haven't actually got one of these letters?!!

Thoughts???

You do not really need the NVC letter. As long as you have you DS-160 confirmation or the Packet 3/4 that sent to your home by the embassy thorough snail mail.

Is the DS-160 the letter you get from USCIS once you have been approved?

Sorry im really dumb with all of this stuff!

I think from London packet 3/4 should be the letter from the Embassy telling you they have received your case.

DS-160 is the Online Non-immigrant Visa Application itself, and it can be a bit annoying to fill out at times, so you should start working on that for starters :)

Hello, we were approved on august 21 and my fiance got the letter on august 25 from uscis, my fiance called at nvc on september 19 and got case number, the status says at nvc.

Can i ask when did you got your approvals letter from uscis?, and  when did you get case number from nvc?

Me and my fiance are driving us crazy from be waiting.

I hope you answer me

Actually everything is in my timeline.

The letter from USCIS we received two-three days later after approval showed on web-site. NOA2 date is August 11th. And case number we've got on August 25th.

Call NVC and ask to reach supervisor. Tell him that you've been waiting more than 30 days. That's what we did according to what it written in NOA2 letter.

Best of luck to you! Hope this week you'll receive good news from NVC. ;)

Start gathering the documents and filling out the Affidavit...nothing you can do now, your case will be forwarded to NVC then to the Embassy which will send the packet 3 for next steps!

Congratulations!!!
