I called till they gave it to me. You will be waiting awhile if you wait for the letter to come

Okay, going to call this evening!

Do you need any hard copy of

the approval notice (or whatever?) to take to the medical? Or do you just need the #LDN?

So our case managed to get out of the NVC on Friday and today ceac status shows "Ready". :jest:

Awaiting for a call/email from the embassy to proceed with ds160 registration and interview booking. :dancing: Medical done two weeks ago. A bit confused cause when I gave case number at the medical it was without two digits and KEV letters in the end that appeared today after case was received by the embassy. Hope it won't be an issue.

Thank you everyone for your support. You are an awesome people and I wish all the best with your loved ones!

Mine just arrived to the NVC this past Thursday! I hope it doesn't take long to get sent to the Embassy.

Also my worry of Dubai interview disappeared, they auto switched my Application to AbuDhabi which I heard is better :D WHere do you track your NVC? When I track it says to wait for a packet to pay fees, but when I call they say they wont send anything and just process to send to Embassy, and the embassy will take care of everything from there?

I really wonder what goes on with NVC.  The only thing I can find that they do with a K1 is to assign a embassy case number to the petition, run your names through NCIC, and send it to the embassy.  There must be more that they don't tell us.....

Glad yours got shoved out the door and off to the embassy.  Hope your embassy is a quick one and you can make up some lost time now.  Sounds like you are ready, just need the interview and you are set.   Best of luck to you ;)

We all used to talk to much, now the Aprilites are beating us by leaps and bounds:)

So, let's try to catch up :)

Beneficiaries, what is the most useless thing that you absolutely must take to the States?

For me that would be old Christmas cards from my friends that I've been collecting for years.

Petitioners, what is the most useless (in your opinion) object you've bought/are going to buy for your beneficiary?

Eric will have to buy a hair drier for me before I come, and you can see from our profile pic why he would never find it useful:)

hahahah do you guys wanna know how much stuff I ve had with me ? 150 kgs cargo +  3 suitcases ( 70 kg) and the small cabin bag==> all my belongings . and yes, I still had to buy the hair dryer coz it wouldn't work here :D

Hi,

Medical should have given you a Form 3025 vaccination record.  This is the form to use for AOS.

If you didn't get it when you left the medical exam, be sure to go back and get it before you leave the country, or it will be rather expensive to get all vaccinations in the US.

you're right, the paper I have from the clinic is the ds-3025, is just written small at the bottom of the page, I have noticed now after i read your reply... got a bit nervous as I am in the US since the 20th of September so no way to go back to the doctors in Bucharest

Wow! thats amazing,  but I think that this happened because of the embassy trying to move the case even further back right @Amy Carol Wolff ???

I wouldnt like pissing up the consulate and we already got the airplane tickets so I think we will wait, better safe than sorry

This happened because they had administrative issues in general - nothing relating to our case.  We had our plane tickets too, but honestly, it's worth the extra cash to make the change. Now we're just waiting to have the actual visa in hand! Good luck to you!

Hey guys! Does it seem normal that our case would be in "administrative processing" this long at NVC? We haven't had our interview yet or anything btw! It is so weird... our USCIS approval was dated July 21st. Then of course it said "In Transit" on NVC, and finally it said "Ready" at NVC on August 1st. After a while, it changed to this? Anyone have any idea? 59d306f6942de_administrativeprocessing.PNG.3aef1b4d5a6a3ac415471c0ca41ff249.PNG

Wow, that's a lot of stuff. I haven't started packing yet but I'm determined to fit everything into 23 + 7 kg per person (there are 3 of us). Yay decluttering:D

Ugh, that's horribly long:( @Kateryna_I had the same, they were stuck for more than two months in AP there. As far as I know, NVC can randomly select a case for more thorough checks. So, you just drew the short straw, but as you've been waiting for so long, it has to be over soon. Good luck!
