Hello all. Yes I’m late filing. I have a few questions regarding AOS. Please help

 

Who fills the G325a Petioner or Beneficiary? 

 

 If we are pass the 1 year medical, should we go ahead and do another one? 

 

Any helpful infomation would be apprciated.

Go up to the top and search out the "blue ribbon" that contains the words "guides". Select guides and look through the different offering for the AOS guide. Everything you'll need will be thee and most of your questions will be answered.

EAD May 23, 2014 Employment Authorization Document approved and went to card production

TD May 23, 2014 Travel Document approved and went for card production

Green Card Approved July 11, 2014 Approved, no interview. Went to card production.

Green Card received July 17, 2014 GC received without interview

Anyone has any update on the AOS? We filed that on February 2018, did the fingerprint on March, nothing till now. 

 

My EAD and advanced parole will expire in July. Wondering when I should renew it.

March 16, 2017 - I-797C NOA1 Received

June 21, 2017 - NOA2 Received

July 7, 2017 - NVC Case Created

July 17, 2017 - NVC Hardcopy Received

July 17, 2017 - Received email from U.S. Embassy in Malaysia to schedule an interview. 

July 18, 2017 - Case Ready 

August 5, 2017 - Only interview date available is August 17 

August 8, 2017 - Scheduled interview on August 17

August 9, 2017 - Medical Examination (report ready by August 16)

August 17, 2017 - Interview Day (K1 Approved)

January 23, 2018 - Entry to the US 

February 16, 2018 - Got married!

February 21, 2018 - Sent AOS packet

February 24, 2018 - AOS packet delivered

March 8, 2018 - I-485, I-765 & I-131 Accepted

May 30, 2019 - US Permanent Resident Card Received

You can apply for a new EAD six months before the expiration of your current one. You may want to look at reapplying in February 2019. 

As for the appointments for AOS....it really just depends on your local office and how quickly they are processing. 

My local office is fast (fairly fast)....we applied in January 2018 and my husband received his green card in November.
