was asked to submit Ds 5535 after interview CR1

Hi Everyone;

 

My husband just received 5535 after his interview today. CR1 visa. They said they will email the form to him. He still didn't receive anything.

 

Do we wait for their email or Do we go ahead  download it from the internet and fill it out. 

 

What is the email address that you used to email the form 5535

 

How long is the waiting after you submit this form to hear back from them?

This is the purpose of the form:

 

Form DS-5535, Supplemental Questions for Visa Applicants, standardizes the collection of additional information, including social media usage, from immigrant and nonimmigrant visa applicants "who have been determined to warrant additional scrutiny in connection with terrorism or other national security-related visa ineligibilities."

 

so you are under a search to see if there are any issues / may be several months

no one can really answer but all u can do after submitting the form and documents to support it , is wait

i read another post that indicated your name may have come up on a list as it could be a familiar name and you need to prove u r not the one they block by submitting passport pages to show no travel to terrorists countries
