it was a very sh!tty adaptation of an uber comic.. there are no fat dudes with axes as hands in the comic..

That was straight out of Doom.

I think the movie made me re-evaluate my opinion on the comic. It is pretty accurate - despite the "Persian weirdness" being toned down. Miller was heavily involved in the production so presumably he endorses the additions

My wife actually wanted to see this film so much, I got us tickets to a special advance screening a week or so before the general UK release! She enjoyed it for the amount of "man-meat", and myself for the action scenes. Suffice to say that since seeing it, I've had orders to up my gym routine to "look more spartan-like"
