(F) *abrazo virtual* (F)

hahaha I loved it, short and to the point Thanks Daniel!!!

And thanks everyone!!

(F)*Virtual hug* (F)

I’m so nervous!!! I’m at the burst of tears, I can’t believe we are so close. Seems like yesterday that Justin and I were hugging at the airport crying and hoping that the day we meet again was not far away...and here it is, just around the corner

well, I'm off to bed. I don't wanna be yawning during the interview heheheh but I'll sure post something tomorrow morning, between "mates". and of course after the interview (after Justin and my 2 best friends, you guys are next on the "must tell" list

(Daniel, your lack of Ñ is unforgivable hahaha change your keyboard to spanish cheee)

:dance:We got approved!! wwooohhoooo!!!!!!!

Us going through Argentina are so lucky, honest. They scheduled the appointment very fast, and the interview was very relaxed, it even seemed like I was talking to a friend. It helps a lot that you submit your papers before the interview, and they'll even tell you if there's anything missing, so when you get to the interview, you just worry about talking

(and those poor martyrs putting up with us, argentine SOs, know how much we like to talk  )

I also understand that it helped us a lot that I had a valid tourist visa, because it's no brainer that if we were out to commit fraud, we could have just used that visa.

But I still think that if you've got no red flags, and submitted everything you need...then the embassy is fair and you'll have no problems

Saludos,

Caro

Hi there everyone!

so, I'm less than a month away from the trip, and I have to admit it...I'm freaking out!

I'm in the process of selling my furniture and apartment, and I'm putting my 2 weeks notice this friday...

I keep having this weird thoughts that if Justin and I break up, I'd need to buy all new furniture again

weird, I know, but that's what did it for me

In the meantime I'm trying to spend as much time as possible with my friends...My best friend is driving me to the airport, I anticipate a sob marathon

I'm still completely sure that all this fears will vanish the moment I see Justin at the airport... (L) and head to the start of our new life together :luv:

Saludos,

Caro

Caro y Justin,

You feel your are getting some cold furniture-itis. Just keep up the faith and all will work out with your plans. We were looking at doing a K-1 versus K-3, and it looks like we chose wrong. Still waiting for NOA2 and would have had it a month or two ago if we had done a K-1. Oh well, seems like everything is going against us (governments, timing, etc) but we just keep the faith and hope for the best quickly. Every relationship has its challanges and long distance/different cultures make it even more complex. I hope the best for you guys and thanks again for all of your comments and posts.

Banfield.

Thank you Banfield! I can't help to get a very little-almost microscopic- case of cold feet every now and then. After all, it's a huge change!!!. But I'm very happy, and I can't wait! it's going to be great

btw...I booked my flight today, I'm flying Oct 10th, Justin will be driving from Austin to Dallas to pick me up at the airport :D

Hang in there Banfield! (and all those waiting!), remember the big picture: it's a few months to get the paperwork out of the way, and then you'll be together for the rest of your lives :luv:

Think of new ways to surprise each other at a distance. For example, Justin sent me flowers several times. We take pictures, with no particular reason, just to email to each other...we have long night talks through internet calling...text messages...letters and postcards...even the smallest things help a lot. And after the NOA2, time flies like an arrow

I already looked up some information about the Argentine community in Austin. There is an Argentine center, I already know a Buenos Aires cafe, and where to get empanada dough, dulce de leche, yerba, and all that  hope the people at the center know how to play truco.

Saludos,

Caro
