touched

what do you mean by "touched" a lot of people use this word... im new to these forums, and am wondering what you all mean.....

Touches are recorded on the USCIS website https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp

They won't send you an e-mail when you are touched, they will just update your case # and let you know the last time that your case was "updated" (from here on out refered to as touched). You can also just see you LAST touch, so you have to keep checking it daily (hourly if you are like me tee hee), to see when it updates. If it's something big like a transfer or issuance of card or something they will actually fire you off an e-mail (if you sign up for e-mail updates).

You will need your NOA for your AOS and your EAD/AP if you want to sign onto this service.
