Well folks, I tried to look for any open slot, but absolutely nobody has an open slot

Any advice? :( She lives in Cebu, but if needed we could go to Manila, but as it seems, they don't have an open time slot either.

I ran into a similar situation last night, my fiancee's passport expires in March and we want to be prepared for the 6 month window -- the Puerto Princesa DFA office has lots of immediate availability for appointments, so I booked her flights to PP and her passport renewal appointment is next Thursday Oct 11. I noticed that they have availability for Oct 5 too, but couldn't find flights available to get her there sooner. Hope this info helps!

Yup. That's where my mom *might* get her passport renewed, but she says that even with expedited processing, her passport could still take a month to arrive. I shudder to think how long it will take for non-expedited applications.

Normal processing after the DFA appt is about 14-21 days (weekends are not counted) for the new passport to be released, with expedited processing it is is about 7 days.  Asawa ko just received her new passport from DFA, it took 7 working days for the passport to be released, asawa paid for delivery so another day for LBC to deliver (we are metro Manila)

I believe; Normal processing P950  Expedited processing P1250

When did she get her renewal?

My sister's appointment was first week of September and she still hasn't received her and she expedited.

Don't know, I'll have to ask her. We spoke last weekend and she said it hasn't arrived yet so maybe (hopefully) this week she'll get it. She went to the Megamall branch. My mom will be going to the Ali Mall branch. Fingers crossed.

The expected release date of the passport is printed on the receipt,  for my asawa and a good friend of ours (her niece) received their passports exactly when expected.

Um yes I know where it's printed, I've had to apply for passports myself. On my sister's she said that it said 10/2, her appt was 9/4, so even when expedited (and yes, I'm sure it was expedited, saw the price on the receipt), it still took foreverrrrrrrrrr. Still no word if she already got it or not. She's not planning on traveling any time soon so she doesn't really care. I'm more worried for my mom.

Hey... just trying to help ...  I could be off enjoying coffee with my asawa.

Did your sister pay for delivery?  If not she would have to return to THAT DFA office to retrieve the passport after 10/2 ...    doesn't look like she paid for expedite.
