Guys, thank you all for your comments. Obviously you can tell by my post that I was just trolling. I´m surprised many of you thought I was being serious or took my comments seriously. I thought the flying spaghetti monster thing gave it away. I appreciate everyone´s good intentions.

P.S No, my fiance doesn´t smoke. I just read a lot of comments on the forums and I thought they were funny. Sorry for being childish.

I do not believe you were trolling.

Is a drug test required for the medical exam that is to be done before the interview at the embassy? My fiance drinks and occasionally smokes marijuana.

Nice try to evade your prior statement about giving your fiance illegal advice/trying to back-peddle the previous information given about your fiance's drug use.  You've posted previous times about his drug use, what you should say when questioned, and how invasive the drug test is/what will show up in the test.  Anyone can trace this by looking at your content page.

My fiance used to smoke weed recreation ally 5 years ago. Ever since then he quit and has remained clean. In the medical exam, he was advised  to admit he used to smoke weed when asked even though that will get him a 1 year ban. I told him why don;t you just say no? You're super clean anyway. But people kept telling us don't ever ever lie  even if they'll never know. Even if you'll get a 1 year ban.

So my question is, how does the embassy spy on us to know if we are lying about that or not about smoking weed 5 years ago at a dingy house party. Do they have a genie, or install secret spy cams while we are asleep?

I have a feeling it's the secret spaghetti monster. But I don't know. Please guys help us please let us know help help help. :-/

You MUST tell the truth.  If they discover a lie the visa could be simply denied.  Tell the TRUTH.

Hahahaha, now you are backing up because you realize that USCIS might have already gotten this information from this forum.  It's too late and you're not a troll.  They got you!

Trolls normally don't have months worth of postings asking about drug testing and how hair sampling works for their fiance...

You're definitely not a troll if you've been a member since March...trolls usually come and go the same day, and don't fill out profile info.

As we've all said, just be honest.  Have your fiance be honest.  It's really nothing worth it in the end if you find your whole world tossed upside down years later because of a lie told on an application.

If nothing else, remember this:

A denial because of prior drug use doesn't mean you can never apply again and get approved afterwards.

A denial because the application purposefully told a lie CAN result in a permanent ban from entering the US, deportation if already here, revoking of immigration benefits and/or citizenship later on down the road, etc.  USCIS would take his misrepresentation MORE seriously than his drug use.

Not really worth it, is it?

This is the problem. It looks like neither of you would know the truth even if you fell over it. If you can't even keep your stories straight on this forum there's no hope for either of you when it comes to the various interviews you will face in this process (embassy, AOS, citizenship, etc).

Good luck. You're going to need it more than others.

Timeline in brief:

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath
