How much time should i expect to wait to be able to schedule my appointment for the K1 visa? I just filled up my visa information.

It depends on which stage of the process you are at. If you are filling out the i-129f petition, at this rate, then it will be roughly 7 or 8 months before your interview, just the USCIS processing times are taking roughly 150 days now. I am currently at day 141 waiting for my case to be passed to move on to the NVC! Then once I get my case number, We can set up the interview

Thanks so much for this information, I already have my case number, since I receive a notification regarding that NVC has processed my petition, so should it be earlier than that? I started the process in January 2017.

If the NVC has already processed it and you got your packet then youre good to go bud, scheduled that interview, have your fiance schedule the medical exam so that it is first, make sure you bring the medical results to the interview, as well as all of the other things required, if you look on the site you will see all whats required to bring to the medical and interview. Dont go anywhere until you're certain you have everything

You should fill out your timeline in your profile. It helps others who are going through the same embassy as you to get accurate information and it will help YOU by connecting you with others going through the same embassy.

Interview set ups depend widely on the country - so it's difficult for a person who has to email the consulate who schedules a time than it is for those who can look at a calendar and pick a date. I know friends who have the calendar option that you are suggesting and have not been able to get a date as all of October and November are full in their country and December schedule has not opened yet.
