K1 visa interview with no medical

does es anyone know what happens if you interview and your medical is on hold or the embassy hasn’t received the medical yet?

I believe you are put on AP until they receive your medical. My fiance was given a sealed envelope after his medical to take TO the interview so all countries must be a little different.

At my embassy interview, Knightsbridge had 'forgot' to send my medical to the embassy. I was just put in AP until the embassy had my medical results

What’s AP and how does he request it? Did they tell you you were approved pending medical?

Administrative Processing, if your application needs further evidence/paperwork at the interview your online case status will show AP. Those who are approved also go through AP only for a few days until the status changes to issued.

 

He told me 'everything seems fine, once we receive your medical you should get your visa in 2 weeks'. It took closer to 4 weeks though
