I really don't like how the consulate uses a service that is not reliable, i wish we could pick up the passport and visa but that's not a option. I've been waiting for the visa all day and it's literally only 40KM away and if they can't deliver with it being only 20 miles away that's not good.

Be patient. The reason you can't retrieve the visa in person is because a lot of people don't live in or near Saigon. My wife is from the North. It would have required an expensive trip back to Saigon to get the visa. EMS is very reliable - just like UPS or FedEx. You just have to be patient.

Yeah i was just kind of bummed out that it didn't get here yesterday because we live very close to saigon
