Change of Petitioner while NVC still processing my documents

I received a call from my immigration lawyer that I was abandoned by my petitioner. 

I have already sent my civil documents for NVC to start processing and waiting for their response. 

 

I found a new employer. 

DO I NEED TO SEND A NEW SET OF CIVIL DOCUMENTS? OR JUST INFORM NVC THAT I WANT TO CHANGE THE NAME OF MY PETIONER/ EMPLOYER?

No, it means you need a new petition I-129 worker petition. You can't proceed with the current one if the petitioner is no longer sponsoring you.
